5 Hidden Gems to See at EDC Las Vegas

EDC Las Vegas is right around the corner, and we are getting more excited each day. But, being only a month away, it’s time to start planning, getting your outfits, set Ideas, and downtime exploring planned out in time for you to enjoy your time under the electric sky.
EDC Las Vegas is the ultimate festival playground. There is so much to do and so much to see in only 3 days; there’s a chance you might miss something. As an experienced headliner at EDC, these are my top 5 hidden gems you must find at EDC.
#1. The Festival Rides
My first time at EDC, I was lucky enough to go with a group of experienced headliners who taught me it’s not all about the sets. Sure, there are artists you want to see and new artists to discover, but the grounds have so much more. The mechanical roar of the rides calls to me every time I walk through the festival. Everyone must experience the Ferris wheel at EDC at least once in their lifetime. There’s an exhilarating view from the top, which is something worth taking in. Plus, if you go early enough, the lines aren’t horrible, and you can truly experience it in pure bliss.
#2. Downtown EDC
So many people will walk through downtown EDC, but a lot of people don’t take the time to actually explore what downtown EDC really has to offer. There’s so much to do there! You can marry your partner or rave family at Marry Me EDC, or even just sit and watch a wedding! You can get lost in a small saloon and discover true yeedm with YEEDC! You can gamble your heart’s desire and risk it all with Kandi for a new cuff with the Kandi Casino. You can even sing Karaoke in the heart of downtown. There are truly so many things to see and do just in this small area of the festival.
#3. The Water Maze
Now, unfortunately, this one specifically is just for my VIP headliners. The water maze is an art installation in the Kinetic Fields VIP area. The electric Hues change the color of the waterfall as you walk and navigate through the maze; it’s truly a unique and fun experience. I recommend that if you have access to go and see this interactive art installation, you should.
#4. The Art Cars
You may have noticed before that if you have been to EDC, there are random small stages in areas, and they’re all in the shapes of cars. These are called the Art Cars; they’re interactive, designed art stages built out of cars that special guest DJs will perform on. Not only can you watch the DJs on these cars, but you can also go up on the stage with the DJ! All you have to do is look at the sides of the art cars and you should see a line to go up onto the stage! This is truly a Side-questers paradise.
#.5 Pixel Forest
Much like the rest of EDC, there’s a lot of art all over the festival, but this has to be one of my favorites. Pixel Forest is its own euphoric and unique experience hidden inside EDC. Based on a virtual style of art and gaming, this is a huge immersive electric art experience. It also has an arcade in it as well. Pixel Forest is amazing if you need to get away, or have some downtime between sets, this is something everyone should try to go and visit along the way.
There are so many other hidden gems to find at EDC, and they’re always adding more and more each year. Take the time and look around, you never know what will be around the next corner.
