North Coast Levels Up For 15th Anniversary Edition
We’re gearing up for another year of North Coast, and this year is a doozy. Coasties are gathering in Bridgeview, IL, at the SeatGeek Stadium to celebrate 15 years of North Coast. This festival holds a special place in my heart for a few reasons, but a big one is their love for ravers. Every year, the North Coast team works hard to hear out their festival goers and make massive upgrades. This year is no different as North Coast levels up for its 15th Anniversary edition.
Performances from SVDDEN DEATH: DEADROOM, ATLiens playing an OG Trap Set, and Liquid Stranger b2b ???? will be taking center stage, literally. The Chill Dome’s 360 immersive stage is the perfect spot to keep cool. Catch unique and thrilling sets while taking a break from the sun in this cooled, covered stage. Filled with kaleidoscopic lasers, lights, and plenty of space to relax, the Chill Dome is my favorite place to take a load off.

Over the years of North Coast this festival is a consistent favorite for a few reasons. It’s apparent that they truly care about the raver experience, and it shows. With improvements across their three largest stages, the 15th anniversary is no different. The mainstage is now Stadium: Evolved, the Shipyard 360 is ready to set sail, and the Mega Vega are ready to bring us the party of the year.
First brought to us in 2021, the Chill Dome quickly became so much more than a place to cool off. It was a place to find up-and-coming artists, connect with new friends, and reset. Last year, the Chill Dome evolved for the first time. With a carefully curated program that brought sets from Tape B, Dr. Fresch playing a DnB set, and Levity’s “Levity & Friends” showcase. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, they elevated again. This years edition is featuring the biggest artists the Chill Dome has seen.
Friday
Friday sees the Chill Dome transform into a radioactive reactor where Chicago’s Redline will take over. Presenting The Core featuring SVDDEN DEATH’S DEADROOM experience. A household name in riddim, SVDDEN DEATH is giving listeners a peek behind a curtain they don’t often see; house. We can’t wait to listen to hear his take on house and put his dark signature on it.
Saturday is for the throwbacks with a special OG Trap set from ATLiens. Before headlining in the Stadium: Evolved, the mysterious duo is playing the Chill Dome at ____time____. Then Sunday be sure to pop in for a cooldown one last time. Versitlile dubstep king Liquid Stranger is popping in and bringing a very special friend. Who that is? You’ll find out soon enough!
Outside of the Chill Dome, things are heating up for the 15 year celebration. The mainstage has upped their game. The Stadium: Evolved is bringing an experience much bigger than we’ve seen here before. 95 feet bigger to be exact. Coasties can get up close and personal with the new extended DJ booth while soaking in a completely enveloping light and pyro experience. With a slew of platium names like Chris Lake, Zeds Dead and REZZ, we can’t wait to see it come to life.
In 2023, we were brought the Shipyard Stage for the first time and it quickly became a hotspot for unforgettable sets. This year, festival goers get to see the Shipyard transform into a 360 experience. What was previously a platform built of shipping containers, this year will be a custom DJ booth complete with all the SFX bells and whistles. This is the perfect place to catch a wave and get your goove on. With acts such as Kaskade, and Sofi Tukker, we can’t wait to see it!
On Sunday, Los Angeles based Brownies & Lemonade will be taking over Shipyard 360. Bringing along their friends RL Grime, Apashe and Juelz, they didn’t stop there. LYNY, Taiki Nulight, Control Freak and DJ Yung Singh will be joining the party here!
Lastly, the Vega Stage takes on a new, MEGA persona. The Mega Vega is updating it’s platform to be 20% larger. Overall, it’s hard to describle just how mega this thing really is. Just check out the teaser and see for yourself!
North Coast’s consistant leveling up is just one of many reasons to love it. After 15 years of building their legacy, it’s easy to see why people come back. Labor Day weekend has become a staple for ravers all over the country as they flock to Bridgeview, IL. With large-scale art, heaps of shopping vendors, tons of food and unique brand activations. Above all, this festival truly is a testimant to how much love is in the rave scene. We’ve got our sunscreen ready and our good vibes ready to roll for North Coast 2025. Hope to see you there!
