Same Same But Different Festival (SSBD) is setting the stage for a transformative weekend this September, unveiling both its 2025 workshop programming and Phase 2 artist lineup. Known for their intentional blending of music, wellness, and community, the Lake Perris festival will welcome attendees September 26–28 for three days of connection, creativity, and dance under the Southern California sun.

On the wellness and workshops front, SSBD is hosting over 50 interactive sessions designed to nourish mind, body, and spirit. Headlining this year’s offerings is LSDream’s Lightcode, a visionary blend of music, meditation, and energetic healing that guides participants through a multisensory journey of sound, breath, and consciousness. Other highlights include Amplified Yoga with Donovan McGrath (fresh from a Lightning In a Bottle main stage debut!) as well as restorative sound baths, Aguacero Ritual Drum and Dance, a community 5K, and family-friendly experiences in the Family Garden. SSBD encourages attendees to connect beyond the music, to play together, to reflect and recharge. The festival’s off-stage programming is as intentional as its headliners, from DIY mosaics to parasol making to gardening 101, intuitive writing, kandi-making, and immersive theater, the opportunities to connect are endless.

“Our workshop leaders are the heartbeat of SSBD. They create the moments in between the music—the ones where real connection and transformation happen. These aren’t just side activities; they’re an essential part of what makes this community so special.” – Brad Sweet (Co-Founder, SSBD)

On the music side, Phase 2 brings a wave of talent, led by a sunrise set from CloZee. Her cinematic fusion of global bass and psychedelic textures will greet attendees’ ears while the sun rising over the lake will greet their eyes. Also joining the bill are Coco & Breezy, known for their house and R&B vibes, tesh, a genre-blurring and story-telling artist from San Holo’s bitbird label, and Luke Andy, a Walker & Royce favorite. More than 60 additional artists will join them, adding to the already stacked lineup with Zeds Dead, LSDream, Dr. Fresch, ALLEYCVT, Boogie T.rio, and Łaszewo.

For the early-birds who want even more of the experience, SSBD will also kick things off early with a Thursday night pre-party hosted by SoCal’s Good Society, known for curating bass-forward events that spotlight local talent. Their takeover will feature A Hundred Drums, sumthin sumthin, PHRVA, and others, setting the tone for the weekend ahead.

SSBD continues to distinguish itself as one of California’s most compelling independent festivals. Between its lakeside stages, immersive art spaces like But County Fair, Grandma’s House and Nakey Island, and an ever-growing roster of community-driven workshops and music experiences, this year’s SSBD will be one you don’t want to miss. Attendance is capped at 7,500 and already 75% sold out (with capped attendance at 7,500), join the fun here!
