The visual arts at this year’s Bumbershoot focus on stories, visions, and creative voices of the diverse PNW community. Art installations are expected to be free-range as artists will share their creations with the crowd, immersive installations, and even comedy shows.

The Fashion District will bring all-new runway shows featuring the next wave of regional designers, a bustling fashion marketplace, and the beloved, eclectic Wig Farm.

The Recess District is bringing BUMBERMANIA, a wrestling showcase curated by SOS Wrestling. Nearby, Gravity Park will feature a skateboarding program to spotlight some of the Pacific Northwest’s most talented skaters. Among these sights to see, artists will be in the middle, keeping the excitement and attraction of Bumbershoot lively.

Over in the GEODESIC DOMES, festivalgoers are invited to step inside and explore personalized tarot readings, detailed astrological charts, and energy work designed to enchant and inspire. The Pole Pavilion—curated by Alyssa Kjormoe of Lilith Pole Studio—will feature two days of pole-centered performance and dance.

VANISHING SEATTLE will be a feature this year as a powerful visual history curated by Cynthia Brothers that captures the evolving spirit of the city through the stories of the buildings and businesses that have shaped Seattle’s cultural identity.

And of course, comedy makes its triumphant return, curated by local legend Dan Hurwitz. The Comedy Coop at SIFF Theater will host a packed weekend of performances from some of the region’s brightest and funniest voices.
