Levity’s Lasership Tour: Prepare for Warp Speed and Wubby Bass

Levity has been taking the US by storm on their Lasership Tour and let me tell you they did NOT disappoint! Fans flocked to Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO for two nights to be transported to another world with music, positive energy, and of course lasers! Fans lined up outside of Mission hours before doors opened to ensure that they were able to secure the best spot to observe the spectacular show.

I had the privilege of entering the venue a bit early to check out the stage set up. I’ve been to many shows at Mission and the stage that Levity brought was completely unique to anything I’d ever seen. The Lasership towered multiple feet off of the stage. I have to take a moment to emphasize how incredible this stage production was. This custom made stage was expertly designed and covered with screens, lights and of course, lasers.

There were three openers that kicked off the night to warm the crowd up before the legendary trio took over the Lasership. First, was Snuggles. He is an upcoming producer from Boise Idaho. He had engaging visuals and a deep wubby sound. Next, was Oddly Eazy (OE). The Seattle Washington duo has a funky dubstep sound. They mixed hard rock throwbacks like TNT and Ain’t No Sunshine to bring their unique sound. OE brought out SoDown as a special guest to pack a punch! Last, Fly took the stage and brought the heat! He took the energy to a new high. I swear he did not stop jumping his entire set! The Los Angeles based artist mixed hip-hop and rap songs to create his genre bending sound.

Finally, Levity took over the Lasership! They opened night 2 with a Star Wars themed intro. Setting the scene that the trio has been traveling through space. They brought their classic genre-blending sound! They took us on a journey on the Lasership. The visuals took us to different planets and through battles with different space beings! The set lasted for 90 minutes and they did not disappoint. Their visuals were amazing, the lights were vibrant, and the lasers were phenomenal! During their set, Levity announced that they would be headlining Red Rocks next year. They also brought out Richard Finger as a special guest. Experiencing Levity’s Lasership Tour is a must!

This show was truly spectacular! I chatted with quite a few different show goers before and throughout the show to learn more about what exactly people loved about the Chicago based trio. With all the fans I spoke with, a common theme is that the group is genuinely down to earth. Many fans also mentioned how inspiring the group is! At the end of the show, John Hauldren, expressed his gratitude to the crowd. He shared that specifically when performing in Denver that the three of them feel extra motivated to put on a top tier show because of the exceptional music scene we have!
