Night Trip Open Air Arizona
On March 26, Insomniac Events and Desert Events brought us Night Trip Open Air AZ, and it was honestly such a fun night. It was my first time at 9th & Jackson and I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The venue is an outdoor space with a ton of room to move around, which made it super easy to just wander, dance, and find your people throughout the night.

They had food and drink stands set up, and the lines actually moved fast (which we love). The stage itself was pretty minimal, but the lasers completely made up for it. They were so colorful and bright and honestly set the whole vibe for the night.
We got to check out the backstage VIP area too, and it was super spacious with tables and even separate dance floor areas on each side, which made it feel elevated but still really fun and social.

Gudfella came on with the perfect sexy house vibe that got everyone dancing, and then D.O.D closed out the night so strong. He played all the songs everyone knows like “Somedays,” “Still Sleepless,” “So Much Love,” and “Sweet Nothing,” and the crowd energy was unreal. Like 12 out of 10.
One of my favorite parts was how easy it was to move through the crowd. We kept randomly running into friends, dancing in big groups, and just fully vibing the whole time. The weather was also perfect, around 75 degrees, which made it even better to just be outside dancing all night.
Overall, this Insomniac Events and Desert Events collab did not miss, and I’ll 100% be back for the next one. If this is the standard, I’m already excited for what’s coming next!!
Next up is Day Trip in the Park with Matroda on May 2 in downtown Phoenix, and trust me, you don’t want to miss it! 🪩
