Same Same But Different Just Got Bigger!
Same Same But Different (SSBD) is expanding its 2026 experience with the addition of more than 60+ new artists, 40 new workshops, and even more immersive experiences waiting to be discovered along the shores of Lake Perris this September!
Taking place September 25–27, SSBD continues to bring together some of the most respected and forward-thinking names in underground electronic music, creating a festival experience centered around discovery, community, and connection.
The newly announced artists include Desert Hearts co-founder Lee Reynolds, as well as Machinedrum, TRUTH, Thought Process, Vincent Antone, and many more. The expanded lineup further cements SSBD’s reputation as a destination for music discovery—where longtime favorites and emerging artists share the same stages and the unexpected is always just around the corner.
Nakey Island Returns
Produced in partnership with San Diego-based brand Almost Nakey, Nakey Island returns for 2026 as one of SSBD’s most anticipated and talked-about experiences.
Accessible exclusively by boat, the private island escape begins at the festival dock, where attendees ferry across Lake Perris and leave the main festival grounds behind. On the other side, a world of hidden beaches, open-air dance floors, and unexpected experiences awaits.
For the weekend, Nakey Island becomes its own destination within SSBD—a place where attendees can explore, dance, unwind, and embrace the festival’s anything-can-happen spirit.
Over on Nakey Island, attendees can discover an entirely different side of the festival through a diverse mix of wellness and interactive experiences. Programming includes sound healing, breathwork, guided movement, tea and snacks, survival workshops, massage and chiropractic care from The Festival Chiropractors, Saturday Morning Run Club, kayak races, daily treasure hunts, Coconut Confessionals, and more.
While music remains at the heart of SSBD, the festival continues to expand its programming beyond the dance floor. This year’s wellness offerings include the return of LSDREAM’s Lightcode, a fan-favorite experience combining sound, meditation, and healing, alongside an expansive lineup of community-driven workshops and activations throughout the weekend.
Add in tucked-away beaches, cabanas, scenic hiking trails, and SSBD’s iconic “Top of the Island”photo moment, and Nakey Island becomes more than an activation—it’s essentially a second festival hiding just across the water.
With an expanded lineup, immersive programming, and plenty of surprises waiting beyond the stages, Same Same But Different 2026 is shaping up to be more than a music festival—it’s an entire world built for discovery.
