Black Book On The Pier

Iconic British producer Chris Lake is bringing his Black Book Records brand to New York City for a special open-air show at the historic industrial waterfront venue Brooklyn Army Terminal. The label boss himself will headline the mid-summer spectacle over two days, July 19 and 20, 2024. Lake has released countless hits, including ‘Turn off the Lights,’ ‘Beggin’’, and ‘In The Yuma.’ He initially launched Black Book in 2016 to share his music but quickly started putting out tunes by fellow stars in the genre, including Walker & Royce, Eli Brown, and Cloonee. 

Special guests and support for this edition in Brooklyn include Chris Lorenzo, Green Velvet, Harry Romero, Book Club Radio’s Jojo Lorenzo, Andruss, Cole Knight, and more. Expect an immaculate mix of casual warehouse vibes and a summertime soiree at this unmissable Black Book takeover. Fans can sign up for pre-sale tickets at blackbook.nyc, which will go on sale beginning April 16 at 12pm EST. All ticket options will be available on April 17 at 12pm EST. Cinco De Mersiv

Following his anticipated return to Red Rocks on May 4th, Mersiv, also known as Anderson Benoit Gallegos, is set to enchant the Denver community once again with “Cinco de Mersiv” on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. This new cultural festivity not only celebrates Cinco de Mayo but also pays homage to Mersiv’s Mexican heritage, promising to be an annual highlight for Denver’s vibrant electronic music scene.

Framework in the Desert Recap

Framework, one of the world’s leading independent purveyors of underground music experiences, has just concluded the third edition of its Framework in the Desert event series. 

This year’s Framework in the Desert hosted a bevy of star-studded performers, surprise b2bs, and special celebrity guests. Highlights include Belgian trailblazing DJ/producer Charlotte de Witte kicking off the weekend with a ripping headlining performance, bringing her signature hard-hitting techno sound to the uniquely cavernous venue. On Saturday, Australian superstar Dom Dolla doled out a roaring, 90-minute set to a bustling crowd of revelers. And on Sunday, global party-starter John Summit hopped straight from his stage-closing Coachella performance to Framework in the Desert, serving up a high-octane selection before welcoming UK tech-house producer Cloonee to the stage for an impromptu b2b. 

HAYLA – Embers

Following break-out releases including her collaborations “Escape” with Kx5 (deadmau5 & Kaskade) and “Where You Are” and “Shiver” with John Summit, alongside her own solo single “Fall Again,” award-winning electronic music artist HAYLA releases new single “Embers”  today, April 19.  Look for the song to appear on Hayla’s highly anticipated artist album due out later this fall.

IS U IS U – Lights On

Electronic tastemaker duo IS U IS U (Kito and Chrome Sparks) have returned with their new second single ‘Lights On’ out now via Mad Decent. ‘Lights On’ arrives with the announcement of the duo’s debut Melter EP, due out May 8th.

Phace – Everyday

It has been six years since legendary electronic music producer and drum & bass maverick Phace, also known as Florian Harres, released his most recent album. He now makes a vigorous return with ‘Everyday’, set for release on May 24th via North America’s trendsetter, Zeds Dead renowned Deadbeats label.

Ahead of the album release, a three-track sampler will be dropped on April 19th, offering a taste of what’s to come.

Timber Music Festival

Timber Festival continues to enhance its already impressive musical line-up with a slew of new artists set to grace the stage in the heart of the National Forest.

There is a distinctly folk feel to the latest wave of artists to join this year’s lineup. Makushin, a three-piece band whose atmospheric, tender sounds promise to provide a tranquil soundtrack in harmony with the festival’s natural surroundings through their fusion of folk, jazz and ambient music, join the roster for their first performance at Timber.
