Artist Biography

Peach Pit is an indie pop band hailing from Vancouver. The band formed in 2014 and practiced together for a whole year before playing any public gigs. Three years later they released their debut album Being So Normal via indie label Kingfisher Bluez. The title came from feedback the band received after competing in a battle-of-the-bands competition. The band went viral soon after when a random fan in the Philippines with a popular video channel shared their track “Peach Pit.” The band now has a global following as people have connected with their often depressive lyrics. Using this success, the band toured the U.S. and Europe in addition to signing with Columbia who released their second album You and Your Friends in 2020. In 2022, Peach Pit released their third album From 2 to 3 which focused on more acoustic elements.
