Breakaway Dallas Was A Treat!

This past weekend, I got the chance to experience Breakaway Dallas. If you aren’t familiar, Breakaway is the best traveling festival around, with events all over the country! This particular one was held in Dallas, so I was stoked to attend.

Overall, the experience was great! Saturday was a lot of fun, but it was too bad that the weather was cold. For a small event, the festival packed a huge punch. There were so many people there, I was shocked by the number of attendees! Plus, everyone was friendly! I felt welcomed by almost everyone I saw, which made the overall experience better.

The layout of the festival was great as the walk between stages was very short. This was a bonus as I was often deep in the crowd and could still check my favorite sets out with a short walking distance.

I spent my time between GA and VIP, which was a whole different ball park. It was great to be in VIP, away from the crowd. There were tons of little perks that uplifted my experience as well.

Every festival has its ups and downs. Overall, from talking to people, I felt that most people really enjoyed their time at the festival. However, the water stations were a concern for many attendees. There was only 1 water station in the GA section, and sometimes, it wasn’t working. Additionally, the festival was very well attended (which was great!!), but the venue size was a little too small for that. And of course, every festival can always improve their bathroom situation because let’s be honest, it’s no fun at any festival!
