DAY TRIP 2025 💙🌴🎶
Day Trip was truly the time of my life. The second we arrived, we hopped into a cart that took us into the festival and instantly started making new friends. We took pictures and danced while riding the party cart into the festival. The energy was electric from the start, and it set the tone for one of the most unforgettable days ever.
We started things off at Day Trip at the Deep End stage, groovin’ under the grassy ceiling to Ranger Trucco b2b Luuk Van Dijk. I’ve been dying to see Luuk for so long, so seeing him play with one of my favs in the minimal house scene was such a great time. The vibes were perfect at this stage, tons of space to dance, perfect crowd, and that minimal house energy that just keeps you moving.
Next up: the High Tide stage, the biggest and honestly one of the most beautiful festival stages I’ve ever seen. On the way over, we met a bunch of amazing people and ended up joining a group of about 30. It was incredible to spend the night dancing with them and meeting so many new friends. The stage itself was stunning, sitting right next to the Queen Mary, it made for the most stunning backdrop. Watching Matroda as the sun went down was unforgettable and we didn’t stop dancing once. Then Wax Motif came on and he brought his signature bass house heat. He also dropped some G House which was so fire, I can’t stop watching the videos. Also, the visuals during his set were insane, the screens wrapped around the stage pillars which made it feel like we were in another world.
My absolute favorite set of the night was Gorgon City. They closed out the night with the hardest-hitting tech house and completely blew me away. It felt like a workout we were moving and grooving so much. The giant disco ball above the stage reflected lights across the Queen Mary and it was just magical. ✨✨
And just when we thought the night was over… we made our way to the after party ON the Queen Mary, where Gorgon City played again. Such a surreal experience, dancing on a haunted ship with a legendary set playing in the background was truly unreal. You can even book a room and stay on the ship (which we are 100% doing next year).
We didn’t make it to day two, but honestly? Day one gave us everything we could’ve asked for. Thank you Day Trip for the best experience ever!! We’ll be back every single year 🕺🏻🪩 🌊
