DJ Diesel Presents: Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Phoenix

This just in… Shaquille O’Neal (aka DJ Diesel) is bringing an absolutely stacked lineup to Downtown Phoenix for the Final Four Weekend. It’s only fitting that this former Hall of Famer and professional basketball player turned DJ throws his own show for the basketball madness that will be taking place in Phoenix in just a few weeks on April 5th and 6th!

To give you some background info on Shaq, it’s said that he’s always been passionate about music, he even created his own rap album in 1993 that sold over 1 million copies- allowing him to become the only athlete with a platinum-selling album. Fast forward to 2014 when Shaq first discovered the world of electronic dance music after crashing TomorrowWorld, where he was exposed to big name DJs like Skrillex and Steve Aoki. Since then, he’s played at some of the biggest festivals such as Lost Lands, EDCLV, Tomorrowland (and many more), has released major bass records with some of the hottest names in EDM, has launched his own festival series: Shaq’s Bass All Stars, and has held various Vegas residency’s. All while being a father, having various obligations with the NBA, and multiple other business dealings.

Shaq is also quite the performer on stage, as he interacts with fans and even lifts them high into the air. It’s always a fun time at his shows and he’s been coined “the biggest DJ in the world” (for obvious reasons). Shaq also has been known in the past to cancel shows or sets. For example, this past weekend at Beyond Wonderland he was unable to attend due to an “unforeseen international business trip”, and therefore had to cancel his set. But, with how busy his life seems to be, it’s definitely understandable, so if you’re lucky enough to throw down at a DJ Diesel set, make sure you enjoy it!

With that being said, if you happen to be in Arizona on April 5th and 6th, then make sure you don’t miss out on this heavy bass show that he’s bringing to Warehouse 215 in Downtown Phoenix. Along with him, he’s bringing some big-name DJs that absolutely throw down like Kompany, Hesh, Benda, Yookie, and lots more artists that’ll be sure to have you in a neck brace by the end of these two nights. I’m especially excited to see Stoned Level’s set and Gorilla T b2b Celo!
