Global Dance Made Me D-A-N-C-E

I didn’t know what to expect from Global Dance Festival this year because of the new location! As my 5th year going to Global, the festival kept the beautiful, whimsical decor; neon trees, fairest wheel, glow tunnels, and spread it all throughout The National Western Complex in Denver. Overall the festival was easy to navigate, I would say easier than my previous years! I loved exploring all of the vendor booths, they had so many amazing small businesses varying from pashminas, flow stars, fans, food, and merchandise!

Unfortunately due to a family emergency, I wasn’t able to make it to Saturday, Day 2, but Day 1 was packed with tons of amazing artists! Some of my favorites from the night were: Canabliss, Wuki, Ravenscoon, and Duke Dumont! Each artist provided amazing visuals, lasers, a variety of genres, and great vibes However, I heard from other attendees that there was some phone stealing! That is always a bummer when people do this at festivals but, it makes investing in a Clutchloop more worth it!

In my opinion, I liked having it at Empower Field more than the National Western Complex. At Empower Field, I loved being able to see the city while vibing outside. On the opposite end, I enjoyed the National Western Complex because even with the rain delay, most of it was inside so the party never stopped!! Global Dance Festival 2024 provided the amazing, magical vibes it has provided me the last 4 years I have gone! Even with the event changing the location it was a great time!
