GRiZ Is Bringing Us Back For Seven Stars 2026
A Camping Festival Unlike Any Other
Valley of the Seven Stars returns October 9–11, 2026, to Oak Ridge Farms in Arrington, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains for its second installment since GRiZ returned from his hiatus. The festival is curated by GRiZ himself and produced in collaboration with 100x Presents. It is 18+ and it’s a three-day festival wrapped inside a larger camping experience. Last years festival was absolutely incredible, a culmination of everything GRiZ has wanted to create for his entire career, and this one is set to be bigger and better than the last. This year the lineup is STACKED with sets from artists like CloZee, LSDREAM, Ganja White Night, G Jones, Gramatik, Daily Bread, Whethan, Jade Cicada, Crankdat, ALLEYCVT, Hedex, Mersiv, Ravenscoon and others. GRiZ himself will be performing three times, and he even includes a ‘Chasing the Golden Hour’ set on one of his days, which is the most magical sunset musical experience I have ever witnessed in my life.
With roughly 80 artists set to play across the weekend, and the programming centered heavily on bass music, it also has something for every vibe. The sets stretch into experimental bass, drum & bass, funk, hip-hop-influenced electronic music and house music. The deeper you read into the Seven Stars lineup, the more it begins to more like a stack of little reasons to wander all about instead of just your average lineup. A Street Bangerz set from Gramatik, Daily Bread slipping into Cloud Conductor mode, LYNY arriving with a mystery partner, and those three separate GRiZ sets leave so much room for unexpected moments.
Seven Stars is GRiZ’s Idea of what a Festival Should Feel Like
When GRiZ first announced Seven Stars in 2025, it wasn’t just another show on his return tour. It was his first full-scale music festival, curated by him and his team, and it marked his return to live performance after almost two years away. At the time, he shared what ideas made him create the festival in the first place; bringing your favorite people along, stumbling into unplanned experiences, losing yourself in the music, connecting with someone new, uncovering things you never knew were out there, embracing a little absurdity, and creating a space where everyone is free to show up exactly as they are. Last year, Seven Stars had that electricity of the the unknown since it was the first time it was being held. This October, however, its returning with something even more exciting, a chance to take everything they learned last time and everything the community brought with, and build it up better than ever.
The crew at Seven Stars have 7 pillars that they weave into every aspect of the festival. These are, as stated on their website, Inclusion, Sovereign Self, Sharing, Leave No Trace, Curiosity, Kula (Unified Heart), and Bunga (Wild Abandon). I think that brings with is such a vibe of taking care of each other, taking care of the land, staying curious, being yourself and leaving enough room in the weekend to get a little weird. Speaking of weird, the fest is packed with opportunities for side quests of all sorts. Not only can you find mindful forest walks and guided art activities, there is also group games, mountain biking, scavenger hunts and other experiences. Their wellness program is also full of surprises like meditation, breathwork, Qi Gong, sound baths, and self-empowerment sessions. I love this fest because getting distracted isn’t really like getting lost, its more like the adventure we came for. Last year we even stumbled upon GRiZ marching through the festival grounds with a live band, absolute magic!
We Head Back To The Valley in Less Than A Month!
In 2025, we didn’t really know what we were walking into. This year though, we know exactly what we are coming back for, even if the best parts are still a mystery. We get to be immersed in bass, three incredible GRiZ sets ( I can’t wait!), nearly 80 artists, late nights and plenty of dancing until you drop. Throughout all that, we get to find forest walks and sound baths, handmade art, new and old friends, incredible sunsets over the hills and side quests around every corner. For me, the real magic of Seven Stars was so much more than the music, it was the special little worlds that came alive around each set, built by everyone who showed up to be a part of it.
