It’s All A Balance

Bring equilibrium back to your life in Iowa this summer! Balance Music and Arts Festival is just the thing to invigorate your soul. UPDATE: The new event will take place in Waterloo! More details to come! Nestled in Independence, Iowa, this festival is located 4 or 5 hours away from major Midwestern hubs like Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Kansas City. As a native of this state, I can confirm Iowans know how to party, and this festival will be a great opportunity to showcase how we do it in the Hawkeye state. After a successful small and intimate first run in 2023, the organizers are ready to expand Balance into a large-scale festival experience. Join the fun from August 22nd through the 25th.

I’m astounded at the first-class lineup! Balance Music and Arts Festival is bringing the heat to the picturesque banks of the Wapsipinicon River. Boasting 3 stages, this fest has plenty of space for headliners Daily Bread, Dr. Fresch, and Opiuo, with support from Mickman, Levity, Flintwick, Tripp Brothers and so many more.  Each stage features sound production from heavy hitters Ronin Productions, Tribal Roots, and True Steez.  Not to mention the pre-party featuring Yheti, Toadface, Basura, and others.

Bring your swimsuits and take a dip between checking out the live painters, vendors, and art installations.  I really enjoy the daytime hang sessions with the rave fam, and this fest is going to have so many opportunities to make all those prized memories.

Pitch a tent or enjoy your RV at this riverside venue for an unforgettable few days of camping, music, and camaraderie. Both car camping and forest camping are options, but if camping isn’t your thing, there are a handful of hotels within a 25 minute drive of the festival grounds.

Pull up!! Snag your tickets and be sure you select the correct camping pass. This up and coming festival is sure to deliver an amazing time for you and your squad.
