Dirtybird Campout Announces Initial 2022 Artist Lineup

Eight years ago, house producer Claude VonStroke had a dream that he could bring together a community of weirdos and dance heads while straying from the norm that is present in music festivals. The result brought the Dirtybird Fam together for the Dirtybird Campout. This is a wild and free playground for music festivals of all backgrounds. Positivity and creativity are the main sources of the vibes here while you enjoy your summer camp for adults. Every summer, you can choose your own adventure with Dirtybird Campout. This is one of the BEST boutique festivals in the world. Newcomers and veterans alike merge on the dance floor like it’s the last party on earth. Come check it out at the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds in Central California October 7-9.

This is a summer camp for wannabe grownups. Think about the people who are adults, but know there are adultier adults out there. When you arrive, you’ll be grouped into 4 colored teams and you will lead your team to victory! Work to gather the famed Ironbird Trophy. Not only do attendees face-off, but artists join in on the fun too! Face-off on the dodgeball court, try not to run in the speed walking challenge, swim for the finish in the .5km Floaty Race, test their strength in Tug O War and so much more, all in a quest for one color team to take home the glory.

Claude’s Cabin remains an outpost for the oddities that make Campout one of the most unique events in the world.

Whimsical game shows and activities like Ruffled Feathers Comedy, Lovebirds Dating Show, Lapdance For Your Life, Kat Fight Game Show, Beatbox Competition, How To Grow Shrooms, Spelling Bee, Bingo, Bad Drag Show, Deep House Yoga, and so much more bring fans and artists together under strange circumstance all night long. This is going to keep the party going with your Dirtybird fam!

All of this sounds fun, but let’s add to the fun with an eclectic artist lineup! This lineup stands out when compared to the rest of the festival circuit and you can look forward to a mix of international legacy acts and emerging stars that span the worlds of house, techno, bass, hip-hop, and beyond for a truly diverse musical adventure.

Thursday’s Early-Arrival Pajama Party kicks off with a special set from house legends Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, and Mark Farina all going back to back for a party that’s certain to kick off the weekend right. Claude VonStroke welcomes fans back to camp with the warmup set.

Next up, we’ve got The Birdhouse Stage, focused particularly on a range of house and techno styles, will see Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke team up for their Get Real super-group, Irish house, techno, and rave sensation Rebūke, standout producer and audio engineer Lubelski, and label favorites such as groove-heavy house duo Walker & Royce, beat-driven party starter Ardalan, and vocal maven Nala. Fashionable twin-sister production duo Coco & Breezy, fan-favorite VNSSA, pioneering house producer Kevin Knapp, and original Dirtybird artist and Anabatic Records founder Mz Worthy are also among the names rounding out a highly diverse Birdhouse stage.

The Bass Lodge has a particular focus on left-of-center stylings, seeing everything from bass and dubstep to funk and hip-hop-influenced artists. This year is led by the likes of legendary jungle/drum & bass producer Goldie, West Coast bass innovator Eprom, boundary-pushing Iranian-Dutch singer Sevdaliza, London selector Ben UFO, respected UK jungle act Roni Size, and the ultra-creative bass wobbler Yheti. Additional names include electropop trailblazer Uffie, dancefloor favorite Justin Jay, distinguished cross-genre producer Nikki Nair, organic bass producer Of The Trees, celebrated Canadian artist and entrepreneur The Librarian, up and coming live electronic band Boiz House, and Bay Area rap legends Souls Of Mischief.

This year’s edition of campout will also see the introduction of a new third stage, a Dirtybird Late Night Stage called The Hideout. While we used to vibe out to the Silent disco, The Hideout will include all night tunes, sunrise sets, and hilarious vibes. Blakeshine is the legendary campout creative director and you need to be ready to join the camp counselors for some wacky fun! The Dirtybird fam is sure to have a BLAST!

The venue of the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds is absolutely perfect for this event!

First off, spend some time in the gorgeous and coll waters perfect for swimming. Want to live in luxury? Bring your RV with full hookups along the lake. There will be unlimited opportunities for adventure! Bonus! There will be regularly cleaned showers and bathrooms that are available everywhere for use in addition to plenty of fresh water locations in all festival areas to provide the best camping experience possible for attendees.
