All Get Out- DFR & Feeling Well
Equal Vision Records and South Carolina-based indie-rock quartet All Get Out are excited to release “Feeling Well” and “DFR,” the band’s first brand new songs since 2018’s No Bouquet. Somewhat intertwined songs that reflect the memories and experiences associated with small town living, “Feeling Well” and “DFR” are songs that show off two different sides to All Get Out. The former is a song that swells from a simple, solitary guitar chug into a quasi-orchestral crescendo of frustration, uncertainty and doubt with frontman Nathan Hussey proclaiming, as the song slows down again at the end, “I don’t feel right about it now.” It’s a lyric that also begins, and is later repeated in, “DFR,” a beautiful song about nervous youthful abandon that transports you back into a past that, even if you didn’t specifically experience, you know all about.

A Will Away- I’ve Got A Five
A Will Away usher in the new year with the new single “I’ve Got A Five”, the latest song from their forthcoming LP Stew, due out next month on February 18th via Rude Records. The song tackles “musings on the breakdown of interpersonal relationships,” explains the band. “As both parties grow ever more frustrated and hurt, someone inevitably starts keeping score. Eventually the whole thing becomes more about winning some unspoken wager rather than mending what’s broken.” The sweetly somber track builds to a rumble and then resolves again in a pattern on the back of math rock inspired rhythms. Earlier singles have already won attention from the likes of Brooklyn Vegan, The Alternative, and Spotify and Apple Music’s “All New Rock” and “New In Rock” playlists respectively.

Sander van Doorn x SELVA x Macon – Raindrops (feat. Chacel)
The track immediately kicks off with a pulsating bass, paired flawlessly alongside a rising tension that builds upon itself with each passing second. A catchy beat is quickly introduced into the space, providing a much-welcomed four-on-the-floor rhythm and flowing vocal cut. The pace begins to slow as atmospherically entrancing production elements are infused, placing a central focus on the emotionally-charged lyricism. A buildup ensues, and is unleashed in full force with a hefty slew of hard-hitting bass drops. Throughout the endeavor, one can clearly hear each artist’s unique sound, a harmonious blend of Sander van Doorn, SELVA, Macon, and Chacel’s distinct musical artistry.
