Rhyme So- Poseable
The video, which was partly shot in a capsule hotel in Tokyo, pokes fun at society’s compulsive obsession with digital validity, hopping from one Instagram-worthy pose to another. The visual includes a cameo from Mari Natsuki, the beloved Japanese actress known for her maternal roles in Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away and the Japanese remake of Bewitched. Assuming the role of the tastemaking grandma, Mari embodies the song’s refrain “or grandma sends you home,” an ode to grandma’s unyielding sense of what’s good and what’s not.
Above & Beyond- The Deep Mixes (Jon Gurd & Braxton Remixes)
Summer 2021 sees an eclectic selection of house and techno producers take center stage, reworking nine Above & Beyond hits. ‘The Deep Mixes’ compilation features remixes of singles from Above & Beyond’s debut album ‘Tri-State’, as well as remixes of vocal anthems from their renowned ‘Group Therapy’ and ‘We Are All We Need’ albums. Big Indie Records
The Bots- Girl Problems
Big Indie Records and rock band The Bots are excited to present “Girl Problems,” the second single to be lifted from the Wednesday, September 8 release of 2 Seater, the LA-based outfit’s first full-length offering in seven years. “’Girl Problems’ was inspired by the stories I’d hear from my girlfriends growing up,” said frontman Mikaiah Lei of The Bots. “It’s basically the story of ‘Mean Girls’ and problems young women go through: catty behavior, talking behind one another’s back, etc. It’s all surface reality stuff but it’s something everyone experiences or can relate to.”
WATEVA- Someone Better feat. Emily J
“Someone Better” ft. Emily J features a catchy melody and relatable lyrics describing a toxic love interest. This legendary collaboration leaves fans feeling eager and nostalgic as their first collaboration in 2018 “My Love 2 U” released on Selected, climbed the Spotify Viral Charts in the United States, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, etc. Very much a danceable summer jam, “Someone Better” is also harmonically-rich and heartfelt with the addition of Emily J’s pop-sounding vocals that radiate empowerment and confidence.

For three years, DIRTYBIRD has been hard at work adding the final touches to its new and improved Birdfeed 2.0—its internal social network where the most dedicated of the flock can connect with one another and discover blossoming new talent that leader Claude VonStroke has his eye on. The time has now come for the new and improved platform to take flight, and with the launch comes a brand new Best Of The Birdfeed EP highlighting cuts from artists like Andreas Henneberg, Chambray, Borgez, and more.
2021’s Best Of The Birdfeed offers something for everyone. Tracks like the Andreas Henneberg & Beth Lydi collaboration “Slap Clap,” and Chambray’s “Laurel Em” play around with off-kilter sonics, MADDIMAN’s “Dat Rave Booty” dives into minimal, and bits like Ekoboy’s “People Goin’ Crazy” harken back to the bass-heavy, buoyant sound that DIRTYBIRD has pioneered over its years.
Floret Loret and Low Poly- Osprey
Floret Loret and Low Poly release “Osprey” on Electric Hawk Records. This experimental, mind-crunching track takes the listener on a ride impressive sound design through descending riffs and riveting bass.
Bilboni- Inverse EP
Welcoming the über-talented Slovenian producer for his long-awaited label debut, the huge three-part package is yet another profound showcase in dark, driving sonics from the boundary-pushing Parisian label, who seem to be going from strength to strength with each passing release in 2021.
Future Classic/Grassroots Records
Flight Facilities- The Ghost feat. Gerd Janson and ABSOLUTE
‘The Ghost’ is another reminder of Flight Facilities’ ability to effortlessly pull inspiration from a wide range of musical genres while still making it recognizable as their own. The darker, heavily synthesized record lends itself to grittier reworks, allowing Gerd Janson, one of Germany’s best and most versatile producers; and ABSOLUTE., a formidable name to step out of the London underground in the past few years, to add their signature touches.
Get Better Records
Teenage Sequence- All This Art
Independent Queer/trans label Get Better Records (Control Top, Evan Greer, The HIRS Collective, Lande Hekt) and London-born, British South Asian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Teenage Sequence are excited to present the music video for “All This Art,” a track that turns a scathing eye on the small indignities and hypocrisies of a music industry that doesn’t want to face its own racial shortcomings. Clocking in at 6:29 of spoken word over a dance beat as bright, tart and cutting as the song’s lyrics, “All This Art” disregards the rules of modern pop and alternative songwriting in favor of brutal honesty and bittersweet fun.
Digitalz- Imaginary Love
Digitalz return to the release radar with ‘Imaginary Love’, the duo’s much anticipated full-length debut LP. The star-studded 10-track offering features vocals from a number of highly talented musicians the likes of Annika Wells, Naomi Wild, and Mickey Shiloh to name a few, and also follows up their recent string of lead singles ‘Ritual’, ‘Invisible’, ‘Beg For It’, ‘Miss Me’, and ‘Falling In’. GRiZ- Rainbow Brain

Saycet- Messa Solaris
Collaborating with organist Alexandra Bartfeld and the vocal ensemble Les Métaboles, Saycet was invited to attend The Palace of Versailles to create a new and acoustic adaptation of his recent single, Solaris. An invitation which was impossible to reject, Saycet’s first call to action was to re-compose and arrange his original piece of music, to be performed on and to be centered around The Great Organ of The Royal Chapel which dates back to 1710. An instrument steeped in history spanning the ages, Saycet’s electronic arpeggios take a trip back in time, performed on The Great Organ which is tuned in a key that is no longer present in today’s music.
Jamie Jones & Lee Burridge- Music And Meditation App MEYA
Well-being, music, and meditation platform MEYA has announced electronic music’s leading artists Jamie Jones and Lee Burridge as new equity partners. Sony Music Japan
Tokyo Machine- Monster-Beastars Theme
The ‘Sakura Chill Beats’ YouTube channel is back yet again with another hard-hitting remix via SONY Music Japan, this time around featuring the opening theme to the second season of Netflix anime series Beastars. Out now, enigmatic producer Tokyo Machine’s new take on YOASOBI’s ‘Monster’ directly follows up RetroVision’s rework of the peggies’ ‘Ashiato -Footprints-’, in addition to several others by Slushii, Corsak, and James Landino. Maintaining the streak of anime-centric official remixes, the latest follows up reimagined themes from hit series such as My Hero Academia, Naruto: Shippuden, and Boruto – Naruto Next Generations.
Silque – Dial Tone (Scott Rill Remix)
Scott Rill has blessed us with a remix of Silque’s Dial Tone.
NUZB – Stay By Me & Hot Sauce
NUZB is back on STMPD RCRDS with not one, but two brand new bangers combined in an EP: ‘Stay By Me’ and ‘Hot Sauce’. ‘Stay By Me’ is one of the first tracks he created in 2021 and holds a special place in his heart. The track has a bright, eighties sounding vibe to it. ‘Hot Sauce’ on the other hand is the very opposite and includes darker sounds with ambiance feelings that will elevate your mind into an introspective trip.
NUZB: I listened to my favorite album ever, “Discovery” by Daft Punk, one week before I got the first idea of ‘Stay By Me’. The resampling is very important in my style and I incorporated this vibe to make a unique combination between dance music, 80’s pop culture, future house, and EDM. For ‘Hot Sauce’ I tried to bring back the progressive feel that I used to have on my songs before 2020. It starts with a music box, we involved some of Martin Garrix’s influences here, and the drop delivers an unexpected introspective Reese bass which conducts the dystopic-future I had in mind making that one.
NUZB aims to deliver new and never-before-seen tracks, claiming this decade is the beginning of his Future. RetroFuture.
Curbi – Seeing Is Believing
Curbi is ready for his solo STMPD debut with ‘Seeing Is Believing’. As a definite solo track, Curbi wrote and recorded everything, and also provided the vocals for this one himself.
Curbi: ‘’I wanted to go back to my roots making something melodic yet with an energetic festival touch… only this time experimenting with my own vocal and playing with a colourful touch! I’m very happy with the result.’’
Matt Nash – Now Or Never
After hinting at his upcoming debut album a couple of weeks ago, Matt Nash is ready to give fans a little glimpse of what to expect by dropping the lead single for the album: ‘Now Or Never’. Born when Matt experimented with a different style to his usual (future) house, ‘Now Or Never’ is a dance/pop crossover track that is set to be played on the radio everywhere this summer. It’s much more vocal based with an electronic and radio-friendly drop, while also giving that fresh sound to provide everyone with their summer soundtrack. ‘Now Or Never’ comes right after the success of his single ‘Ready Or Not’, which climbed its way to 1001Tracklist most played track for over 4 weeks and is currently still on SiriusXM rotation.
EANOH (ATB Alias)- Simply Mad
Simply Mad provides us with everything necessary for a hot season. A driving beat paired with playful sounds and strong female vocals. The single stands for an absolute ease that enables us to float in the most peculiar way. Accompanied by a wicked touch, the trombone combined with catchy lyrics puts us directly into a house-dance state that is impossible to escape -Simply Mad by any means.
John Roberts- Move It To The Side Alice Longyu Gao Remix
A fan favorite, “Move It To The Side” was originally released earlier this year on John-Robert’s ‘Healthy Baby Boy, Pt 1’ EP. Alice’s “Softboy Dancing In the Klurb Flip” integrates elements of John-Robert’s alluring melancholy-melody with a jacked up tempo and her recognizable, exaggerated pop lyricism. The result is a track unique to Alice’s own personal and flamboyant style, as she serves up her second remixer credit to date. Alice’s new take on the track demonstrates her manifestation of a confident and care-free persona that doesn’t get wound up with anxieties and pressures of the modern dating scene and sees her flip the script on John-Robert’s original.
Lakou Mizik and Joseph Ray- Bade Zile
Few albums manage to evoke a time and place with such startling effect as the unlikely collaboration Leave the Bones (out August 6th), between the multi-generational Haitian band Lakou Mizik and Grammy-winning electronic music artist Joseph Ray. Following its first two singles, the album has already garnered support from NPR, BBC Radio 3, KCRW, KEXP, CRACK, Afropunk, Songlines, and many more.
Now, Lakou Mizik and Ray release their third single, ‘Bade Zile’. A traditional Vodou spiritual song, ‘Bade Zile’ draws on traditional Haitian drums and chants to bring listeners to a spiritual realm under the island of Hispaniola, where mystical spirits rest.
Muzi-Fool’s Love Ft. Blackrose
Continuing the story from the previous album Afrovision’s ‘Microwave Love’, Muzi’s newest single, ‘Fool’s Love’ will drop worldwide on Wednesday, 7 July from WE.THE.BUNDU / IDOL.
