Just Like Heaven Festival is returning to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The curators over at Goldenvoice are proud to bring out all the stops for this incredible single-day festival. A Special Fest For Everyone!
During last year’s festival, guests were treated to a set with Jenny Lewis playing with The Postal Service, and this year she is coming back for a special set, reuniting her with her first band, Rilo Kiley, for their first performance in 15 years! “We are so very excited to come back together for Just Like Heaven in Pasadena, California — Los Angeles,” quoted Rilo Kiley, “As a band, we began here, and we feel so fortunate to return among so many artists and friends, to this community we hold so dear, in such a beautiful and meaningful place.”
Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, who played at last year’s festival, reflected on the
experience by saying, “I went to Just Like Heaven for the first time last year and loved it. Great
vibe, great line-up. Honored to be a part of it.” This year’s festival is a special one for many of the artists as well. It marks 20 years since Bloc Party released their platinum-selling album Writer’s Block, and it’s the 10th anniversary of Courtney Barnett’s debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
Empire of the Sun is returning for their second Just Like Heaven, commenting “It’s a dream to return to Just Like Heaven with our new Ask That God show. Nothing better than a music festival under the idyllic
spring skies of Pasadena!”

For 2025, Just Like Heaven has changed the age which children are admitted free of charge
from 5 to 10 years old, when accompanied by a pass-holding parent or guardian, to make it
easier for families to enjoy a day of music and fun together.
Wildfire Relief & Recovery Efforts:
In partnership with the Rose Bowl Operating Company, Goldenvoice Pasadena festivals
including Just Like Heaven has donated $250,000 to the Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund.
This fund offers flexible support to local nonprofit organizations actively responding to the fires.
