My Top Kilby Block Party Sets
There’s no shortage of talent at Kilby Block Party, but these five artists top my list: Wallows, Toro y Moi, Suki Waterhouse, TV on the Radio, and Justice.
Wallows have been one of my favorite bands in recent years, especially with Dylan Minnette (yes, from 13 Reasons Why) leading the charge. Their energy is electric, and “Your Apartment” is a total jam from the first beat. They also released a new EP in March, so fingers crossed we’ll hear some of those tracks live.
Toro y Moi brings a completely different vibe, his indie electronic pop is smooth, funky, and impossible not to move to. I’ve been a longtime fan, and his sound always feels like stepping into a dreamy, neon-lit world. It’s the kind of set that will have the entire crowd swaying and dancing the whole time.
Suki Waterhouse is pure magic. Her music is soft, melodic, and haunting in the best way. She even opened for Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour in London, and I can’t wait to sing along. She has that effortless, magnetic stage presence that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more.
TV on the Radio making a return to touring is huge! With lead singer Tunde Adebimpe’s recent solo debut, their set is bound to be something special. Their music feels like art; layered, emotional, and deeply original. Seeing them live is going to be a whole experience.
And finally, Justice, the legendary French duo that needs no introduction. The lights will be wild, the bass will shake your bones, and the whole crowd will be ready to D.A.N.C.E. On y va!!! Kilby Block Party is going to be amazing! Grab tickets here!
