San Francisco’s premier electronic music event is officially back. Goldenvoice has announced the return of Portola Music Festival, which heads back to Pier 80 on September 26-27, 2026, for another weekend packed with world-class dance music.
Leading this year’s festival is Swedish pop icon Robyn, who will make her only festival appearance of 2026 following the release of her latest album, Sexistential. Saturday also features a rare reunion from DOG BLOOD, the celebrated collaboration between Skrillex and Boys Noize, marking the project’s first performance since 2019 and its only scheduled show of the year.
Sunday’s lineup is equally stacked with Swedish House Mafia, whose appearance at Portola is one of only two U.S. festival performances currently scheduled for 2026. Joining them is fellow Swedish star Zara Larsson, bringing her Midnight Sun era to San Francisco.
Portola continues its tradition of blending electronic music legends with forward-thinking artists. Festival favorite Four Tet returns alongside dance music pioneer Tiësto, who is set to deliver one of his signature festival productions inside the Warehouse stage. Rounding out the Swedish talent is Tove Lo, while Belgian electronic innovators Soulwax bring their acclaimed live performance back to the Bay Area.
One of the festival’s biggest highlights also returns in 2026 with DESPACIO, the immersive high-powered sound system created by James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), David and Stephen Dewaele (2manydjs and Soulwax), and renowned sound engineer John Klett.
Beyond the headliners, the lineup stretches across multiple generations of electronic music. Mike D of the Beastie Boys brings his new Mike D 5D project for one of its few performances this year, while artists including Ben UFO, Groove Armada, Fatboy Slim, Daphni, and Overmono continue to showcase the sounds that have shaped dance floors around the world.
Live performances remain a major part of the Portola experience with appearances from Skepta, Parcels, Ninajirachi, Kelela, Channel Tres, SG Lewis (Live), ADÉLA, Fcukers, and Six Sex. In one of the festival’s more unexpected bookings, Melanie C of the Spice Girls will perform a special DJ set.
The 2026 lineup also shines a spotlight on some of electronic music’s fastest-rising names, including KETTAMA, horsegiirL, Marlon Hoffstadt, Mochakk, Prospa, Beltran b2b Ben Sterling, Chloé Caillet, Max Styler, and Dean Turnley.
Portola continues to embrace its Bay Area roots with hometown legend DJ Shadow, who celebrates the 30th anniversary of his groundbreaking album Endtroducing…... He’s joined by genre-bending artist underscores, as well as local favorites erika b2b sfcowboy and Program Audio, highlighting the region’s thriving underground dance community.
Now entering its fifth year, Portola has established itself as one of the country’s premier electronic music festivals by pairing internationally recognized artists with cutting-edge talent inside the industrial setting of Pier 80. Goldenvoice also continues expanding its footprint in San Francisco through venues including The Regency Ballroom, The Warfield, Frost Amphitheater, and its recently launched nightlife initiative, Club Darc.
