Ready, Set, Summer: The Countdown to Outside Days Is On
Outside Days is right around the corner which means that it is officially summer! If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, the time is now. The Denver based festival has released its music set times and the speaker schedule for the conference portion of the iconic event. The conference will take place on May 28th and 29th. The music festival will take place on May 29th, 30th, and 31st.
The conference begins with opening remarks from Robin Thurston, Founder and CEO of Outside Interactive, Inc., and Trevor Crist, Chief Business Officer, Travel & Event Services at Outside Inc, at 9 AM on May 28th and will continue through 4:30 PM with closing remarks. On Thursday you can expect to see speakers like Pete Comeau, Managing Director at Phocuswright Inc., Dr. Kimberly McGlonn, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Build it Boldly, Erik Blachford, Former CEO, Expedia, Melissa Mahar, Founder & CEO, Pinnacle Enterprises Group, and many more. On the second day of the conference, you can look forward to presentations by Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser, President and CEO of Trust for Public Land, Mary Beth Laughton, President and CEO of REI Co-op, Ginger Naylor, CEO Outward Bound USA, Jeremy Bloom, CEO of X Games, Sierra Shafer, Editorial Director of Lifestyle, Outside, and so many more!
Friday is when the music starts! Doors are at 4 PM and music starts with Wildermiss at 5 PM and the night will be closed out by Death Cab for Cutie. Saturday and Sunday doors open at 1 PM and music will start at 2 PM! Saturday you can expect performances by Eggy, Flaming Lips, and My Morning Jacket. Sunday, the final day of the event, will have acts by Grouplove, Tash Sultana, and Cage the Elephant. There are still ticket options available! You can still purchase 1-day GA, 3-day GA, 1-day GA+, 3-day GA+, and VIP tickets. If you decide to send it from out of town there are some lodging options available to you.
