Ready to Join The Pinknic???

*PINKNIC*

Festivals are back, back, back!!! We’ve had a long year away! Now, Pinknic, New York City’s biggest annual summer picnic, rosé, and music festival returns this Labor Day Weekend!! The event will include two days of spectacular food, drinks, and entertainment to celebrate its five-year anniversary. YAY!

The 2021 installment of Pinknic is dedicated to the diverse and inspiring people of New York City! These people truly make it a dynamic place to call home. Everything around this event was created thinking of the five boroughs in mind. As a result, you’ll see music, food, and drink that represent these unique and fascinating boroughs. Just bring your friends and we’ve got one hell of a party. Watch the 2019 event recap to see what the event is all about.

Music at Pinknic!

It isn’t a music festival without some awesome music! Pinknic’s 2021 music programming brings together artists from multiple styles and genres into one big melting pot that only New Yorkers can stir. We’re loving it! The Bronx’ own hip hop legend Fat Joe tops a star-studded lineup that also features French dance music producer Dombresky, Jamaican-American musician and singer Masego, Australian dance music trio Pnau, four-alarm party-starting duo Sofi Tukker (performing a DJ set), soul and funk musician Adeline, DFA stalwarts Juan Maclean b2b Nancy Whang (Disco Set) and Las Vegas resident DJ duo The Frenchies. Each artist will perform across both days of Pinknic.  The diversity is what truly brings the event alive!

Food at the Festy

Everyone loves a good bite to eat! There’s nothing like taking a day trip to one of New York’s outer boroughs and sampling the incredible cuisine that the locals have to offer. In the case of Pinknic, we bring the food to you! You’ll have a great supply of food choices. From an eclectic food garden serving up fare from some of the city’s finest restaurants to a unique culinary experience featuring dishes prepared in-person by Gabriel Pazos, the acclaimed chef behind Gauchonfire. Pazos’ method centers around the use of open flame hearth and century-old cooking techniques to create an authentic atmosphere. The aromas generated by firewood, the texture of the grills (which are designed based on the Uruguayan BBQ tradition), and cooking with the most high-quality products make a glorious meal. Yet most important of all, wood-fire cooking as the central part of the show evokes feelings of comfort and brings us together creating not just a meal but a whole elevated picnic experience. Yum, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Drink

We’re all adults here, so it’s about time to talk about what we’ll be drinking at Pinknic. There are tons of drinks that the festival will offer, even if you aren’t a regular drinker! The event features a robust beverage program including rosé, frosé, bubbly, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings. My personal favorite is that rosé! Acclaimed mixology partner Broken Shaker will be on-site to shake up the perfect blend of elixirs, syrups, and infusions, paired with fragrant herbs, fresh-pressed juices, and exotic ingredients. As James Beard Award semi-finalists & Tales of the Cocktail’s Best American Hotel Bar winners, Pinknic attendees will be in good hands.

About Pinknic

You truly have it all with Pinknic. A music festival. A culinary feast. An homage to rosé. This festival is the ultimate celebration of summer. Launched in New York City in 2016, Pinknic returns September 4-5, 2021 for a two-day affair featuring world-class DJs, live bands, boozy bevs, outstanding snacks, and VIP perks.

The island is transformed into a pink and white paradise over the course of Labor Day Weekend. As a result, Governors Island sets the stage with its acres of lawn and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. You’ll be treated like a true VIP at this festival! Thousands of guests arrive by a short, complimentary ferry ride, and receive a bespoke Pinknic tote complete with a blanket, reusable wine cup, and more. The drinks will, of course, be flowing from bars stocked with ice-cold rosé, frosé, beer, cider, champagne, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings. A food garden, featuring some of our favorite New York City restaurants, provides unforgettable fuel for the fête. Each evening is capped off with a celebratory firework display.

While all Pinknic guests can experience the live entertainment and activations programmed throughout the day, VIP tickets include exclusive benefits. Cool off in the pool lounge or order delicious wood-fired fare, cooked in-person by internationally acclaimed chef Gabriel Pazos. Talk about an epic time!

Put on that pink and white and join us. There’s no better way to close out summer than a party with Pinknic.
