Artist Biography
Geese is the Brooklyn-born indie rock band whose journey from high school basement rehearsals to global festival stages has marked them as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary rock. Formed in 2016 while its members were still teens, the group — anchored by singer–songwriter Cameron Winter alongside Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass), Max Bassin (drums) and Foster Hudson (earlier guitar) — blends post-punk energy, art-rock ambition, and indie narrative into a sound that defies simple categorization. Over the course of critically acclaimed albums like Projector (2021), 3D Country (2023), and their 2025 breakthrough Getting Killed, Geese have layered intricate, dance-capable grooves with angular guitar lines and dynamic vocal expression that channels influences from Television and Radiohead to The Strokes and Black Midi, all while maintaining a kinetic precision that rewards deep listening and live intensity. Their technical craft — weaving rhythmic elasticity, experimental hooks, and sharply tuned arrangements — has exploded into sold-out tours, major TV performances, and widespread recognition as a band that pushes rock forward without relinquishing its raw, communal power.
