Artist Biography

Boys Noize is the Berlin‑based electronic music producer, DJ, songwriter, and label founder Alexander Ridha, whose career has mapped a meticulous reimagining of techno, electro‑house, acid house, and industrial‑infused dance music into a distinct — and at times genre‑defying — sonic identity. Born in Hamburg in 1982 and cutting his teeth as a teenage DJ before migrating to Berlin’s underground scene, Ridha launched Boysnoize Records in 2005, crafting a production ethos that blends raw analog energy with polished digital precision and a fearless approach to sound design; his catalog — from seminal albums like Oi Oi Oi and Out of the Black to later works such as +/- — showcases layered bass architecture, fractured synth lines, and pounding rhythmic frameworks calibrated for both club systems and festival fields. Beyond solo work, he has collaborated widely — from forming the boundary‑pushing duo Dog Blood with Skrillex to remixing icons like Depeche Mode and working with artists across genres — while his relentless DJ sets and technical command of multi‑genre frameworks have kept him at the forefront of global electronic music.
