Shaky Knees Is Shakin’ Things Up!

Lineups for the 2024 festival season are trickling into the social feeds. The most hype has been for the 2024 Shaky Knees lineup as this booking gives further speculation on who will be playing festivals in 2024. The Shaky lineup for next year has hit all the right notes to kick off another decade of the festival after celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2023. The headliners of Noah Kahan, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, and Foo Fighters are balanced out well with the stellar undercard featuring some of my favorites including Metric, Pond, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Royal Blood, Girl In Red, Matt and Kim, and Men I Trust.

The presale starts on November 30th at 10 am ET with the usual GA, VIP, and Platinum tickets available for purchase. VIP comes with complimentary beer while Platinum comes with an open bar and catered food. Both premium tickets come with separate viewing areas and other perks as well, something to consider if you need to be closer to your favorite artists. I noticed in the language for tickets this year that the general sale will only happen if tickets don’t sell out in presale (looking like they might as I am writing this the day of the presale and most of the tickets are sold out). Considering Shaky 2023 was almost an instant sellout, this year might follow suit. There were still resale tickets available day of for 2023 but at a hefty price of $200 per day or $600 for a three-day wristband. There could be a similar situation this year. However, those who registered their Shaky Knees tattoo before 2019 still get their free wristbands.

Make sure you book your lodging early if you do get tickets. Central Park is not near many hotels. There is walking access to the MARTA public train lines from the festival, which opens up more options for lodging that is near any MARTA station. There is the option to use rideshare, but keep in mind the cost of travel to and from the festival. I hope to see y’all in the put at Shaky Knees 2024!
