Skate Safari 2024
Calling all central coasters! I’m here to announce Skate Safari – an event that meshes both music & vert skating.
WHEN: May 17th & 18th, 2024
WHERE: Vert Jungle Compground, Arroyo Grande, California
WHAT: Skate Safari
Skate Safari is an event with music, food, and vendors – all centered around a 13.5 ft tall and 83 ft long half pipe. An all ages event – anybody is welcome to skate, eat, or vibe out to some music. The music lineup this year includes The Elovaters, The Funk Hunters, The Ragged Jubilee, Reggae Bandits, Sasha Carlson and The Lights. Between Rock & Roll, Reggae, and House – everyone will find something to jam to at Skate Safari. Skate Safari will take place at the Vert Jungle – a skatepark located just outside of Pismo Beach. The venue will feature 2 halfpipes, stadium seating, multiple stages, and over 100 types of bamboo. Come get lost in the Vert Jungle forest and check out pro skaters & live music. Tickets are on sale now.
Speaking of tickets – get them here before they’re gone. Starting with a 2 day experience for the VIP Ticket holders which offers a pre-party on Friday 05/17/2024 night from 5pm – 10pm. You will also receive catered food & drink – Saturday will include 4 appetizers + main course + beverages and on Friday night you’ll receive 2 tacos. You will also get access to Skate Safari’s Friday Night Celebration, an elevated deck + VIP zone access, 30 minute transferrable skate lesson, and a $10 merch credit. GA ticket holders will get access to the event Saturday 05/18/2024 from 2pm – 10pm.
What’s unique about this event is that Skate Safari teams up with the Poseiden Foundation to raise money for youth to pursue their passions and accomplish their dreams. They team up with the community, professional athletes, and city officials to change the lives of the youth using the skateboarding platform.
