Sol Blume Announces Rescheduled Dates
One of the country’s hottest hip hop and R&B festivals has announced rescheduled summer dates after unprecedented weather this spring in California. Sol Blume will now be held the weekend of August 19th and 20th in Sacramento with the interest of public safety at the forefront. The festival will still be held at Discovery Park and the Sol Blume organizers have successfully been able to rebook the original lineup that fans have been anticipating.
As a Sacramento native, I can tell you firsthand that this winter and spring have been CRAZY with torrential downpours, scary winds, and devastating floods. I’m sure you have seen on the news about the record-breaking rainfall we have had in 2023 on the west coast and Sacramento has been no exception. Unfortunately, a lot of areas in the city are still flooded including Discovery Park. There’s no way ENT Legends (festival organizers) could have moved forward on the original festival dates in late April. Local officials had to call it off last minute.
I wrote a preview for this year’s Sol Blume a couple of months ago if you haven’t checked it out already, but the hype still stands. August is going to be SWEET. We are so lucky to have miss Kehlani and the ever so smooth Brent Faiyaz come to the stage in Sacramento. I’m so happy it’s going to be the same lineup because it is HOT and probably the highest-billed lineup Sac town has seen. In total, more than 30 music acts will travel to Sacramento to perform at the newly rescheduled Sol Blume 2023 with the full lineup listed below:
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19:
