Sol Fest Will Light Up Your Soul
The Phase 2 lineup for Sol Fest Music & Arts Festival 2024 just dropped and it’s a star-studded roster. For their third edition, this fest will be held at a new location, Vortex Spring, in Ponce de Leon, Florida from Thursday, May 2 – Sunday, May 5, 2024.
The festival’s new location is on a whopping 500+ acres. You’ll find SIX water slides and activities like kayaking, snorkeling, cave diving, tubing, and paddle boarding, with gear available on-site. Access to this is included in a 4-day GA pass!
One of the highlights of Sol Fest 2024 is their multi-stage setup, with no overlapping sets. Festival-goers can immerse themselves in non-stop music throughout the event, not dealing with those typical heartbreaking scheduling conflicts that are all too common.
Daily waterpark parties will be headlined by Two Feet on Thursday, Odyzey on Friday, House Call Records on Saturday, and Chase & Status on Sunday. The festival will be offering a pre-party, ‘Welcome Party at the Waterpark,’ on Wednesday, May 1, hosted by regional bass label Wubaholics. You must have an early-arrival pass to join this one though! ALLEYCVT goes back-to-back with a mystery artist, plus Superfuture, Lumasi, and more.

In addition to the already stacked main lineup, Sol Fest will feature back-to-back sets from renowned artists, including the first-ever collaboration between Dirt Monkey and Smoakland, plus the US debut of drum n’ bass pioneer Netsky and rising Australian producer Luude. You’ll also find Imanu x Machinedrum and Skeler x Deadcrow back-to-backs.
The Phase 2 undercard brings some first-time festival performers, like Jantsen, a Subsidia Records favorite, and Papadosio, an innovative band whose genre can’t be pinned but ranges from rock to folk to electronica and more. Their sunset set is sure to be an incredible experience.
This will definitely be Sol Fest’s most impressive lineup, with Phase 2 bringing the addition of electronic-funk duo Big Gigantic, high-octane bass maestro NGHTMRE, and experimental bass virtuoso Peekaboo, with REZZ, CloZee (two sets), LSDREAM, Bob Moses (club set), Dabin, Dr. Fresch, Elderbrook, G Jones, Lettuce, Of The Trees, and Barclay Crenshaw previously announced.
Sol Fest will bring some double features, too. In addition to his headlining performance, LSDREAM is bringing Lightcode to the Vortex. Using his original music, he will guide participants through a multisensory journey of healing meditations and sound baths. You can expect two solo Flowdan sets, plus appearances at Barclay Crenshaw’s and Peekaboo’s sets!

Art-wise, Sol Fest will feature live art, digital art installations, murals, and holograph water screen shows. Festival attendees will also have a number of therapeutic workshops available, from breathwork to yoga to sound healing. Frick Frack Black Jack, a no-cash, no-limit barter Blackjack experience is making an appearance, alongside 40+ other food, merch, and craft vendors.
Sol Sunday is an integral part of Sol Fest, an annual segment dedicated to remembering and honoring Quentin “Sol” Rupp, a cherished friend of the festival community who passed away at the age of 26. One of the key rituals of this memorial segment is the sun lantern effigy burn, where participants collectively honor the memories of loved ones. Sol Sunday embodies the festival’s values of inclusivity, community, and diversity.
Campers have a variety of choices at the Vortex Spring campground. Primitive GA car campers have a 20×20 space to work with. Larger groups can opt for Group Camping, which gives 10 vehicles a 4,000-square-foot area to work with. VIP Celestial campers will have a premium placement at the Vortex Spring campground, with showers and air-conditioned facilities.
All RV campers will have a 20×50 space, where the Power RV pass includes a power hookup, and Primitive RV camping is without utilities. For those who want to be in the shade, the Shaded Power/Water RV pass is for you.
The VIP Glamping Package comes with two (2) early arrival passes for Wednesday, two (2) VIP 4-day passes, parking for one (1) vehicle, and (4) nights in a pre-set bell tent with the amenities listed above. For an upgrade, you can get the Celestial Campground VIP+ Glamping Package, which comes with the previously listed passes and amenities, with 4-day VIP+ passes instead.
