Starbase is Going To Take You To The Stars

Do you love melodic dubstep? Slander’s melodic dubstep show (and a little dub), Starbase, is going to take you to another planet. This amazing festival boasts the BEST names in melodic dub in addition to some great dub names! We definitely need more melodic dub in our lives! If there’s one genre that I feel is absent from independent festivals, it’s melodic dub! This inaugural event will take place at The Woodlands Nature Reserve in Charleston, South Carolina October 8th and 9th. This is the FIRST one and Slander’s team has been working hard for two whole years to bring you this festival.

First off, you’ve gotta check out those stage takeovers. One is Heaven Sent and the other is GUD Vibrations. In addition, you’ll see crazy sets like Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, NGHTMRE, San Holo, Subtronics, and of course, Slander. Plus there’s that Slander b2b Said the Sky set! This festival has an AMAZING lineup! To be honest, dubstep and melodic dubstep are my favorite genres, hands down.

So now that we’ve established that this lineup is INSANE, you’ve gotta get those tickets, right? GA tickets start at $182 plus fees, without camping. But we all know that camping enhances the festival so much, so if you decide to grab those camping tickets, they start at $75. (If you decide not to camp, I feel that too. Sometimes, you gotta chill.) The team knows that the lines are the most obnoxious part of any festival- so you actually purchase a camping pass according to when you plan to arrive to ease congestion. What a great idea!
