TFV Presents: Our ESCAPE 2023 Playlist!
It is with an eager preface that our team has developed a playlist of some of the top songs from each artist one has the potential to see for the festival taking over the SoCal Halloween weekend: Escape Halloween 2023. This being the 30th year since Insomniac originated, the crew behind the name has ensured their festivals have been stacked with timeless headliners and up-and-coming artists. Some of the biggest names in EDM will be on this year’s lineup for Escape: Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Kaskade, Malaa, Rezz, Slander, Tchami, Three 6 Mafia, Zedd, and much more!
When our team at TFV was putting together the playlist for this festival (Listen on Spotify here), it was the type of lineup that had us feeling “butterflies” because of the excitement within the sets to be expected.
This EDM festival is known for its embellishment within its set designs for the Halloween spirit, which is undoubtedly one of the many reasons why so many ravers return year after year. For those attending this year, aside from the set designs and their favorable allocations of EDM with a dash of gore for the perfect “halloweekend”, there will be memorable throwback sets, back-to-backs, and back-three-backs. This year’s ESCAPE Halloween will be one of the most mind-blowing festivals to catch for this fall 2023 festival season. The five stages you can see your favorite headlines at will be The Grimm, Feeding Grounds, Sanitarium, Sewer District, and (the newly added fifth stage) Wicked Woods. The stages will be hosted by Bassrush, Basscon, Factory93, Lost in Dreams, and Night Trip, which (if you are familiar with the SoCal rave scene) means the music will be HOT! These hosts are bringing almost every genre of EDM to the people, whether it is Melodic Bass with ARMNHMR or SLANDER to hardstyle from DJ Isaac b2b SAYMYNAME, there will be sets to catch with your rave bae, your squad, or solo.
Craving more? Check your neck for a vampire bite because you can keep your ghoul-loving weekend going for as long as possible with Wicked Woods from 2-6 a.m. on the event days. You can find “techno-flavored” music from SLANDER presenting “Before Dawn” with Charles D and Shmitty on night one and house heavyweights Malaa, Matroda, and TOBEHONEST for night two.
