The Sets I Won’t Miss at Beyond Wonderland

WE ARE SO BACK Beyond Wonderland is in 5 DAYS!!! This is my 3rd Beyond Wonderland in a row and I could not be more excited! I love the venue, and the stage setups never fail to amaze me. I hope you’re ready for a world of magic because Insomniac creates the most beautiful wonderland you could ever imagine. 

With the festival fast approaching, I’m already feeling the rush of planning my schedule. In my opinion, there are too many amazing sets and not enough hours in the day. I’ll probably be sprinting from one stage to another like my life depends on it, but there’s no doubt in my mind that these five artists are my non–negotiables. 

1. Walker & Royce B2B VNSSA

If you’re a fan of infectious grooves and unpredictable, high-energy sets, this back-to-back is a must. Walker & Royce have mastered the art of funky, offbeat tech-house, while VNSSA brings her bold, bass-driven style to the table. This will be my first time seeing them go B2B, and I can’t wait to see what their set will be like. After seeing them both separately I expect a seamless blend of underground house that keeps the crowd moving the whole set! 

2. 999999999

If you’re into heavy, hypnotic techno that takes you on a mind-bending journey, this is where you need to be. 999999999 doesn’t just play music, they take you on an immersive ride through dark beats. Their set at EDC 2023 felt like a full-body experience, and if you’re looking for something intense, fast-paced, and straight out of an underground warehouse, don’t miss this one. 

3. Duke Dumont

I caught Duke Dumont at M3F last year, and it was one of the best times ever. The crowd’s energy was infectious, with everyone just lost in happy, fun vibes and dancing with positive energy. Duke Dumont’s ability to blend deep grooves with uplifting melodies creates a set that feels like a celebration. I’m really hoping his set at Beyond Wonderland delivers that same euphoric, carefree experience where you can just let go and have the time of your life.

4. Wax Motif

I saw Wax Motif at Beyond last year, and his set was hands down one of my favorites of the entire festival. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of bass-heavy, high-energy house and straight-up sexy grooves, this is the place to be. Every time he plays, the energy is insane, the beats are fire, and you can’t help but dance. I already know this set is gonna be a top highlight of the weekend. 

5. Wooli

Wooli is my non-negotiable dubstep set, no questions asked. He always throws down, and no one else comes close when it comes to pairing insane, hard-hitting drops with next-level visuals. His sets take you on a full journey, balancing euphoric, melodic moments with heavy bass. If you have never seen a Wooli set I recommend you make time to go see this one, I know you won’t regret it! 

I’m so excited to see all my favorite artists this weekend, even if that means running from stage to stage, I know it’ll be worth every second! Also, don’t forget to soak in all that Beyond Wonderland has to offer beyond the main stages. There are countless hidden gems scattered around, and some of my best memories have come from those spontaneous explorations. Go on a side quest with your bestie and you might find the magical doorway with secret rooms and crazy characters. There are countless areas to explore and I just can’t wait to be back!
