This Festival Is The Next Big THING!

Loving the unique name of this festival! THING NW is coming back to Carnation this August 9-11th at Remlinger Farms. It’s 3 days of fun as you groove that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! This is the perfect family friendly event as children 12 and under are actually free! The Seattle Times boasts it as the best family event in the area.

Thing Festival boasts a unique lineup including St. Vincent, Toro Ymoi, Black Pumas, Spoon, Killer, Shaky Graves, Arlo Parks, and so many more! This lineup is diverse and unique in so many ways so there’s a little something for everyone! In addition to the music, there is an amusement park, a petting zoo, art installations, paper lantern making, community engagement workshops, and so much more. It’s the perfect family getaway, especially with the free admission for children!

There is no camping at this festival but there are many local hotels that will take you in for the night or you can stay at a nearby campground if you book a place to stay. It’s also only 40 minutes or so to the venue, so you can always head back to the city if you’d rather stay at home or in the city. You can grab GA tickets or VIP tickets for any amount of days.
