Tips and Tricks For EForest
Hey hey! EForest is this weekend! AHHHHH! I’m so excited to be back and experience the magic that this festival has to offer. I’ve been twice before (and I’m a Summer Camp camping vet) and have some tips and tricks to enhance your experience!
First, EXPLORE THE FOREST! Seriously, I cannot stress this enough. There are so many magical art installations in the forest. There will be so much for you to see and discover. The team behind Forest truly spends their time making sure you enjoy yourself in the forest. It’s seriously so magical and wonderful, trust me!
Second, bring jumper cables. When you car camp, you run the risk of killing your battery. And so jumper cables are a must! You might not kill your own car, but you might be able to help out a neighbor.
Third, neighbors are the best! Make friends with your neighbors. You might make some lifelong friends and you never know when you might need something you forgot. I love sharing with neighbors.
If you can handle it, check out some after parties! I personally can never make it that late but you’ll find some super cool after parties if you explore. But don’t forget to get some rest, too. Forest is four whole days to explore and you want to be present during that time! So have fun but don’t forget to sleep, too. And eat! Your body needs fuel so be sure to eat nutritious meals. There are lots of great vendors if cooking isn’t your thing.
Spread the love! While this isn’t necessary, people love trinkets! I personally will be handing out lanyards and bracelets repping TFV. I’m so excited to share these with everyone in the Forest!
Leave no trace- this is super important! Bring trash bags and such to make sure your campsite is just as clean afterwards! And do NOT throw your trash on the ground in the venue, either!!! This is so important.
Finally, EXPLORE and find new artists. There are a lot of artists on the lineup that I am not familiar with and I’m excited to explore and find new artists. That’s half the fun of festivals! Some of my personal favorites include Seven Lions and Dash Berlin- I had no idea who these artists were before wandering different festivals and exploring.
