We Belong Here in NYC & Brooklyn

NYC (Central Park & Brooklyn) Get a Double Dose of Festivals from We Belong Here in 2025

We Belong Here has announced two festivals in NYC to start October of 2025, on consecutive weekends. The first will be a brand new festival, We Belong Here: Brooklyn, from October 3-5th at a stunning waterfront venue located in Greenpoint, offering pristine views of the city skyline. We Belong Here: Central Park will then return to Wollman Rink from October 10- 12th, for its second straight year.

We Belong Here has established more shows in Miami, Tampa Bay, and New York, and they are hoping this new addition to Brooklyn will help reaffirm their roots and reinforce their namesake that they do indeed belong here. After the success of 2024, the company is showing commitment to increasing access to its uniquely tailored festival experiences.

“New York City holds a special place in our story,” said Justin Dauman, Co-Founder of We Belong Here. “The response to our first year at Central Park exceeded all expectations, with the majority of tickets selling out in the first 24 hours. Expanding to two festivals allows us to welcome more people to enjoy the experience, highlight more unique locations, and maintain the same level of intimacy. We’re excited to incorporate everyone’s feedback to build upon last year.”

“We’re not just growing, we’re deepening our connection with local communities, fans, and artists,” added Charles Hochfelder, Co-Founder of We Belong Here. “Two weekends in New York means twice the opportunity for music lovers to discover where they belong, whether they’re New Yorkers or traveling from across the country.”

The Central Park festival is set to include acts such as Fisher, Kaskade, and Monolink, while Brooklyn attendees will need to stay tuned for announcements on who is playing their weekend. Both Central Park and Brooklyn will have incredibly scenic and immersive areas where you can eat diverse foods, dance to the beat, and discover new art, all in the same breath as you take in the city skyline. A portion of proceeds from the festival will again go towards paid-in-full scholarships for financially disadvantaged young adults to attend Scratch DJ Academy and jumpstart a professional career in music.

“We’re proud to welcome the We Belong Here festival back to Central Park. Events like these, which celebrate music and culture and give back to the community, while activating our public spaces are something we’re excited to support,” said NYC Parks Commissioner Iris Rodriguez-Rosa. “New York City’s parks are for everyone, and events like We Belong Here reflect the vibrant energy and diversity that define this city.”

Details on artist lineups, ticketing, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can sign up for notifications at www.webelonghere.world.
