Welcome To Rockville 2024
Welcome to Rockville 2024 is shaping up to be one of the craziest rock festivals of the year. The 13th annual destination festival will be held on May 9-May 12 this year, in the center of the historic Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida; (the 500-acre motorsports complex also hosts the Daytona 500 for the last 66 years, and claims to have the most distinctive racing schedule in the world.) The festival, produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, boasts 150 bands on the lineup split between 5 stages (Octane Drive stage, Apex stage, Inferno stage, Vortex stage, and Garage stage) over the course of the four day experience. There is also a pre-party event for those camping, turning this into a five day excursion, and that pre-party will be featuring Hinder, Saliva, New Year’s Day, and Flaw.
The festival has partnered with Lyte to bring attendees an app to help them navigate the various needs of festival going. You can create your own personal lineup experience by selecting only the artists you wish to see, you can search for different food/vending options in the venue, buy last minute passes, and of course, there’s a map for navigating the massive festival, its attractions, and the five stages. The app can be found at www.welcometorockville.com/mobileapp, schedule can also be found at www.welcometorockville.com/schedules
Rockville is bringing some serious headliner and support action, with Disturbed and Mötley Crüe on Thursday, Jelly Roll and Limp Bizkit on Friday, Saturday brings Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters, and Sunday will feature Evanescence and Slipknot.
