Welcome To Rockville Announces Dates

If Rockville is on your festival bucket list, it’s time to start planning. Danny Wimmer Presents has officially announced that Welcome To Rockville is coming back to Daytona International Speedway on May 6-9, 2027, marking the festival’s 16th year. Four days of rock, metal, and punk are heading back to Daytona Beach, Florida, and if history is any indication, passes won’t stick around for long.
Passes are on sale now, including 4-Day General Admission, VIP, Daytona Owners Club, camping, and parking. Jampack hotel packages are already available.
One thing Rockville continues to do well is make the festival a little more accessible. You can lock in your spot for just $1 down with a layaway plan, making it easier to spread out the cost instead of paying everything upfront. Active and former military members, nurses, firefighters, and law enforcement can also take advantage of discounted passes through GOVX. Plus, part of the service fees supports the DWP Foundation, which funds charitable organizations throughout the year.
If you needed any proof that Rockville has become one of the biggest rock festivals in North America, just look at what happened this year. The festival celebrated its 15th anniversary by bringing more than 210,000 fans from all 50 states and over 30 countries to Daytona International Speedway.
Across four days, more than 160 bands took over five stages with a lineup that felt stacked from top to bottom. Headliners included Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Guns N’ Roses, and Bring Me the Horizon, with standout sets from Turnstile, Five Finger Death Punch, The Offspring, Breaking Benjamin, A Day to Remember, Godsmack, Staind, Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, Yellowcard, and dozens more.
Whether you came for the legendary headliners or spent four straight days bouncing between stages, Rockville once again proved why so many people make the trip back to Daytona every year.
Rockville didn’t just leave an impression on the fans. The festival also earned praise from music publications and media outlets that covered the weekend. Here are a few of the highlights:
“The 2026 Welcome to Rockville festival is in the books, leaving music lovers with plenty of memorable moments. Over the four-day music weekend, we saw song debuts, first-time performances, tributes to legends, new band member debuts, old band member reunions and quite a bit more.” – Loudwire
“A four-night music festival that rivals the biggest rock-metal events in North America…the heavy metal heaven is finally here.” – Daytona Beach News-Journal
“Welcome To Rockville hits different. With 210,000 fans and a host of the biggest bands in heavy music descending onto the massive Daytona International Speedway…it’s sort of like a hard-rocking Florida theme park.” – Kerrang!
“What Danny Wimmer is able to craft is nothing short of astounding…The festival brought the community of rock together in such a special and memorable way. Every set we saw felt more compelling than the last. The people running the festival put a lot of care into making sure every single fan has the best weekend of their life. It’s more than your usual four days of rock music. It’s the event of the summer.” –The Aquarian
It’s hard to believe Rockville started as a much smaller event in Jacksonville back in 2011. Since moving to its permanent home at Daytona International Speedway in 2021, the festival has exploded into one of the biggest rock festivals in the world. Year after year, fans from across the globe make the trip to Daytona for what has become a must-attend weekend on the festival calendar.
The impact goes well beyond the music, too. Every year, Welcome To Rockville brings an estimated $80 million into the local economy through hotels, restaurants, tourism, and other area businesses, making it one of the most significant annual events for the Daytona Beach community.
Welcome To Rockville is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America.
