We’re Having a Day Trip!

We’re ready for Day Trip Festival! The festival has announced its curated collection of legendary and up-and-coming artists set to perform this Summer during the festival’s third edition at Long Beach, CA’s Queen Mary Waterfront. During the county’s largest festival dedicated strictly to the burgeoning sounds of house music, more than 30 tastemakers from the genre will come together on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 to blast one of today’s most influential music styles on full display. It’s going to be a blast!

The artists on the lineup have paved the way for house music’s success over the years. This includes artists from the roots of the classic Chicago scene and those that have been growing exponentially the past few years! These artists have worked their behinds off gaining momentum over the years. Having originally gained international recognition in the early 1990s for “Show Me Love”, one of the most recognizable house music songs of all time, Robin S. will represent the roots of house music to the modern Day Trip audience, with Mr. V and Ron Carroll also on the lineup to make their contributions to that representation during their respective performances.

House heads will love it because they are known for leading the way with genre-blending sounds and unreleased ID’s, and of course, his unmatched mustache, mullet, and wild sunglasses game, Dom Dolla will take house music forward and into the future on the Day Trip stage. His latest recognizable releases, “Rhyme Dust”, “Gorillaz Remix”, and “Miracle Maker”, ensures a performance of only the highest caliber and energy for any crowd the modern face of house music plays to. The inimitable Duke Dumont follows his incredible Day Trip Seattle performance bringing with him an arsenal of classic house tinged weapons like “Need U 100%”, “I Got U”, and the always crowd favorite, “Ocean Drive”.

Performing together for the first time ever, Day Trip Festival will debut Nora En Pure b2b Tinlicker with a melodic house set sure to feature the deep melodies and progressive sounds both are known for. Day Trip Festival will also mark a very rare SoCal performance for Blond:ish, the “Sete” serial chart-topper and recent Madonna collaborator for the revival of “Sorry” on Insomniac Records.
