Artist Biography

Lambrini Girls are the Brighton‑based punk duo whose raw energy, razor‑sharp social critique, and abrasive noise‑rock edge have quickly made them one of the most provocative voices in the contemporary U.K. punk scene. Formed in 2019 by guitarist/vocalist Phoebe Lunny and bassist/vocalist Selin Macieira‑Boşgelmez, the band built momentum with their feral singles and the politically charged You’re Welcome EP before signing to Big Scary Monsters and unleashing their debut full‑length Who Let the Dogs Out in 2025 — an explosive blend of garage punk, riot grrrl fury, and distorted post‑punk that tackled sexism, class tension, and queer identity with blistering riffs and confrontational wit. Their production style is unabashedly visceral, favoring gritty textures and thunderous bass lines that underscore lyrics delivered with mordant humor and unflinching urgency, while their live shows have become notorious for their kinetic intensity and direct engagement with audiences. Through relentless touring, critical acclaim, and a growing catalog that pairs political bite with unbridled musical ferocity, Lambrini Girls embody a punk ethos that is both fiercely personal and defiantly communal.
