Artist Biography

Deathpact is the mysterious electronic music project that emerged in 2018 with a masked persona and a sound that defies easy classification, marrying midtempo bass, industrial textures, and experimental electronic production into a darkly cinematic sonic identity that thrives on ambiguity and immersive ritual. Originally gaining attention through the brooding collaboration “Life & Death” with REZZ on her Certain Kind of Magic album, Deathpact’s catalog — from the CIPHER ONE and CIPHER TWO EPs to full‑length works like FROM DARKNESS — showcases layered rhythmic engineering, resonant low‑end design, and genre‑fluid soundscapes that span drum & bass, hip‑hop‑influenced beats, and evocative dark electronic motifs, all articulated with precision and atmospheric depth. Central to the project’s ethos is an interactive “xOS” alternate reality game and dedicated fan “Deathcord” community that unravels cryptic puzzles and treasure hunts tied to new releases, deeply embedding the music within a participatory cultural layer. Deathpact’s live “materializations” — masked, multimedia performances at events from Shambhala to SnowGlobe — translate studio complexity into visceral, bass‑heavy experiences, keeping the act’s identity and the boundary between artist and myth intentionally blurred while pushing the envelope of immersive electronic expression.
