Elements Takes The Cake For Accessibility

Elements 2026 is almost here! I’m so excited to be coming back to the Pocono Raceway for my second year and to share some of my favorite things about Elements 2025, as well as what I’m hoping for this year. As a wheelchair user, music festivals can sometimes be HARD, and that’s why I want to share my experience with you, in case you may be wondering, “Is this the right festival for me?”
A note before the photos- TFV tried to find pictures of accessibility on the Facebook page, but we were unsuccessful. These do not necessarily represent the article, but rather Elements itself.
The great news is Elements is AMAZING, and not just for your average festival goer, but for those of us who require some extra assistance too. If you use a wheelchair or other mobility aid, require a sign language interpreter, need to be close to the stage, or need the elevated platform for viewing, Elements comes stacked with help for those who need it.
Last year we had some difficulty finding where the accessible camp was. Not all the volunteers knew, and my caregiver had to ask around a while until we found it. Once we got there, though, everyone was so nice and helpful, and our camp buddies became our best friends through the whole weekend. The bathrooms were porta potties, but the staff had gone through the trouble of locking them for us and only giving the code to get in to the accessible camp. This helped keep them clean despite being near the festival entrance, which was a MASSIVE win for us. The accessible viewing areas for the main stages are spacious too and even have their own charging outlets and bathrooms so you don’t have to hike across the whole fest and wait in line. That alone made this one of the best fests for accessibility I’ve ever been to, and it doesn’t end there! The sign interpreters go hard even when the song doesn’t have lyrics, and some of the most fun we’ve ever had at a festival has been raging up front along with the signers.
The stages are all so beautiful, even if some of the smaller ones can be hard to get in and out of no matter what. Mostly I’ve found the Elements crowd to be nice and considerate and let us get around pretty easily. If you are a fan of the music, or even just like cool elemental art and a super fun crowd, I couldn’t recommend Elements enough.
Last year was amazing, and I hope this year they keep all those features and may even have some more. This festival is known for pleasant surprises, and I’m excited for what they have in store for us this year. I can’t wait to make that long drive to Long Pond, PA. It’s coming up soon!
