Lost Lands Loading… Next Stop: Dubstep Disneyland !

Lost Lands Music Festival is less than six weeks away, and the countdown is officially on. Headbangers from around the world are getting ready to return to Legend Valley, so let’s break down what you need to know before we head back to Dubstep Disneyland.

Located in Thornville, Ohio, Lost Lands takes over more than 700 acres of Legend Valley for one of the biggest bass music festivals of the year. From September 18th through September 20th, the festival grounds will transform into a prehistoric playground, packed with heavy bass, massive production, dinosaurs, and thousands of Headbangers ready to rage their hearts out.

Five Days of Dubstep Paradise

With five main stages and three additional stages, Lost Lands offers plenty of places to catch your favorite artists—and plenty of opportunities to discover an artist completely new.

But the festival experience starts long before the first official set.

Headbangers can choose from a variety of add-on experiences, including camping on the festival grounds, early entry, and participating Headbanger Hotels. For campers, early arrival begins as early as Tuesday, September 15th, giving festivalgoers the chance to settle in, explore the grounds, and get the party started before the official festival weekend.

Early arrival also means more music and a pre-party to officially kick off Lost Lands!

Find Your Perfect Camping Setup

For those making Lost Lands their home for the week, there are plenty of camping options to choose from.

Headbangers can select from car camping, tent camping, glamping, designated female camping areas, and quiet camping for those looking for a little more peace and relaxation between all the headbanging.

There are also parking passes and charging lockers available for purchase, making it a little easier to keep your crew—and your phones—powered up throughout the festival.

More Than the Music

Lost Lands has built a reputation for creating an experience that goes far beyond the music, and the festival continues to grow every year.

Last year brought the addition of Chomp Steakhouse, giving Headbangers another way to fuel up while taking in the festival atmosphere. The steakhouse features a dining room and viewing deck near the main stage, allowing guests to enjoy dinner while still catching the action.

And then there are the hidden gems.

One of the best parts of Lost Lands is exploring the festival grounds and discovering something you weren’t necessarily looking for. Maybe you find it on purpose. Maybe you stumble across it while wandering between stages. Either way, there always seems to be another surprise waiting around the corner.

The Lineup

Now let’s talk about the reason we’re all really here—the lineup.

With a lineup this stacked, picking which sets to see is going to be a serious challenge. From dubstep legends and bass music favorites to rising artists and festival newcomers, there is no shortage of talent across the Lost Lands stages.

And if the individual sets weren’t enough to make the schedule impossible to figure out, the festival is bringing plenty of B2Bs to the table as well.

Some of these collaborations will be brand-new, never-before-seen pairings, making them some of the most anticipated sets of the entire weekend.

For any Bass Head, this is basically the ultimate scheduling nightmare—in the best possible way.

Do you stay for your favorite artist? Run across the festival grounds to catch a B2B? Discover someone new? Or attempt the impossible and somehow see it all?

Good luck on all the sidequests.
