Yungblud Idols in Billings

Yungblud brought his ‘Idols’ tour to Billings, Montana, and it was even better than expected. Upon arriving at the venue, getting through security, and walking into MetraPark Arena, fans were already finding their seats and waiting at the barricade.

I got to meet some incredible people at this show, including a young gentleman named Jack, a 13-year-old fan who has raised nearly $4,000 to donate to Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s foundation in honor of, and in Ozzy Osborne’s name since the time of his passing. He sells necklaces on TikTok Shop (under the name BatBrat5280) and will be auctioning off some Build -a-Bear bats on eBay in October to keep raising funds. It was so cool to meet such a spirited human doing what he can to make a difference in the world.

Brigitte Calls Me Baby opened up the show, and brought all the vibes and energy to get the crowd warmed up! With a captivating sound and somber but upbeat tracks, BCMB had the crowd hanging on their every word.

Dominic Harrison aka Yungblud took the stage to rapturous applause and cheering, and proceeded to put on a phenomenal show alongside his talented touring band. Stage production throughout the night included pyrotechnics, confetti and some insane lighting, accompanied by incredible sound production. He brought some insane energy to the stage, running around, jumping, dancing, and giving the audience a great show.

The lineup for the evening consisted of Yungblud favorites such as ‘Lovesick Lullaby’, ‘Hello Heaven Hello’, ‘Zombie’, and of course ‘Lowlife’. He also played ‘War ’, which is rarely performed live, so Billings fans were truly treated to a wonderful surprise with this track. Dom was seen in shock over the crowd’s reaction multiple times throughout the show, especially during his now iconic cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes’, as the emotions grew throughout the song.

Dom also gave one couple the experience of a lifetime, as he brought them on stage during the show and did a gender reveal for them! (It’s a girl, if you’re wondering!) it was such a wholesome moment for everyone in attendance.

At the end of the night Dom came down off the stage and said a quick hello to a couple fans at the barricade, giving out autographs and even a cheek to a lucky birthday girl in attendance. He also made sure to say hi to Jack and a few other regularly attending fans.

All in all Yungblud was a phenomenal experience and I’m already dying to catch my next performance from Dom and the band.
