Insomniac’s CRUSH Is Perfect For Couples And Singles Alike

Hearing the words “Valentine’s Day” usually elicits one of two reactions in people: either they get excited thinking about an upcoming special day with their significant other, or they feel a sense of dread at the prospect, often due to being single.

Insomniac Events once again decided to make this occasion exciting for everyone by bringing back Crush, an annual Valentine’s Day-themed EDM festival. This year, the event will be taking place in not one but five different cities across the United States: Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and San Bernardino. Each city sports a different line-up consisting of some of the biggest and hottest names in electronic music right now.

Crush SoCal, the closest one to Insomniac Event’ headquarters in Los Angeles, will bring the likes of Showtek, Getter, JSTJR and Gammer to sunny California for a night full of dancing and romance on Saturday, February 16th. The event will be located at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, which is also home to many other of Insomniac’s festivals, including Beyond Wonderland and Escape Psycho Circus.

Crush San Francisco will be taking place a week earlier than its Southern California counterpart, on Saturday, February 9th at the legendary Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Joyride, KSHMR and Cash Cash are some of the artists that will be present. Now, dancing together under a sea of lasers would make a pretty sweet romantic weekend getaway, wouldn’t it?

If crying happy tears to some beautiful trance tunes sounds like your thing, then you might want to keep Crush Denver on your radar: Gareth Emery will be playing and promises to make you feel all kinds of wonderful euphoric ways as usual. This one will also be on the weekend before Valentine’s Day, at the Fillmore Auditorium.

The Dallas edition of Crush is set to take place at the South Side Ballroom and will feature Alan Walker, the producer of the 2015 hit “Faded”, as the main headliner.

Last but not least, Crush Arizona is probably the largest of the five. Celebrating its 10 year anniversary by taking place over 2 days, this one is organized jointly by Insomniac Events and Arizona-based promoter Relentless Beats. With names such as Seven Lions, Slander, Alesso, 3LAU and Black Tiger Sex Machine, this looks like a promising night with a wide variety of genres and vibes that will satisfy some of the pickiest ravers out there as well.

The festival is a celebration dedicated to rave couples, and in fact, discounted tickets are offered to those who buy a pass for themselves and their significant other at the same time. But of course, you don’t need to be in a relationship or have a rave bae to attend Crush; one of the event organizer’s main messages is, “All are welcome here”. It doesn’t matter if you are single, in a complicated situation, widowed, or what have you… You are absolutely welcome to attend, make new friends, and who knows, maybe you will even meet someone quite special!

Make sure to grab your tickets here before they sell out!
