Ain’t No Party Like Hard Summer!

You’re reading this post because you read the title, and you thought “ain’t that the truth”. There is no party like a Hard Summer party because a Hard Summer party don’t stop!

Now, I’m a big advocate of not creating a schedule. I typically float around and see where the vibes take me, but you can’t go wrong with a Hard Summer playlist for you and the crew to bounce, head bang, rap, sing-along and dance to prior to! That’s why we call it a pre-party right? I’ve taken the liberty of creating a dank playlist for you Hard Summer goers that I know will get ya’ll hyped. Take a listen, and let me know how I did!

As you’re listening to my compilation of bangers, you’re probably asking yourself “The inevitability of time conflicts are more than likely, so who’s worth seeing?”. Look no further. To start, this wasn’t easy to pick JUST 5. The lineup is stacked with amazing artists that I’ve seen either multiple times or just once and blew me away. Let me give you the breakdown of MY personal (don’t come at me please) top 5 acts to see during Hard Summer.

  1. Two Feet.
If you’re into sexy instrumental, and a voice smooth as silk take yourself to see Two Feet. Emotional and raw, Two Feet is the perfect way to chill out after a day of raging. His music makes you want to slow dance with your bad and sexy self kind-of-vibe. A must-see if you’re trying to find a little rave bae for post-hard.
  2. Wilkinson
I’m a DNB girl till the day I die, and without a shadow of a doubt, Wilkinson has produced some of the greatest melodic, sing along, dance floor tunes in the last couple of years. He will make your soul vibrate and dance until your feet give out. With songs Here for You and Used to This, it’ll be hard to resist the urge to cry, dance and head-bang all at the same time.
  3. Kaskade B2B John Summit
THIS is the set that I think made Hard Summer sell. What a duo. Kaskade being the touchy-feely OG that he is, and John Summit climbing up the ranks of popularity with songs such as What a Life and Drunk and High, how can you NOT want to see the two back-to-back?!
  4. Yellow Claw B2B Flosstradamus
Throw the heck back to edm 2014-2016 when Yellow Claw and Floss was on every Insomniac line-up for two years straight. The original mosh-pit starters. If you want to take a listen to what us kids used to listen to back in the day, take yourself to an energy-draining, neck-breaking, voice-losing set with this back-to-back.
  5. Disco Lines.
Inspired by early Skrillex, this producer’s chameleon-like abilities of flawlessly bouncing between disco-tinged pop, dark and dirty tech house, and vibrant, effervescent future bass not only screams “he refuses to be held inside a box”, but come on. How does that description not sound absolutely delicious?

Those are my top 5 non-negotiable for the weekend! What do you think? Will I be seeing you there crying and dancing your hearts out? I sure hope so!!
