It’s A Hip Hop- IYKYK Festival
If you’re a fan of hip hop, you would know that Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape finally reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the charts for the Hip-Hop game, and on its heels- the announcement of the brand new IYKYK Music Festival, September 09 at Phoenix Raceway. The festival was co-produced by Relentless Beats and Universatile Music, the one-day event will feature Uzi and a cast of Hip-Hop elite and burgeoning stars, including Metro Boomin, Denzel Curry, and Jeleel!. Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
In addition to the ‘amped’ hype behind this being Lil Uzi Vert’s first headlining festival appearance in Arizona and the fan anticipation to experience tracks from Pink Tape live, the currently announced supporting cast is hard-charging too. Ready for the heat? Metro Boomin recently dropped his soundtrack from and inspired by Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, a release packed with veritable who’s who of the industry’s top performers- and the last Hip-Hop album to hold the No. 1 slot- Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains. Additionally, Denzel Curry’s Melt My Eyez See Your Future continues to evolve through reimagined versions of the original with live instrumentation and guest appearances. A new album has been teased, as has a reloaded version of 13LOOD 1N + 13LOOD OUT. Sounds like a good time!
