Artist Biography

Indigo De Souza is an Asheville indie-rock artist with a backing band. Originally from Spruce Pine, North Carolina, she recorded her first EP Boys in a friend’s garage in 2016. The following year her EP don’t cry just do was released and tracked at New Galaxy Records with help from Ethan Baechtold. After collecting her strongest songwriting, Indigo self-released her first full-length I Love My Mom in 2018 which was later properly released under the label Saddle Creek with a vinyl pressing in 2021. Her mom, a longtime art teacher, did the album artwork. Later in 2021, she released her follow-up Any Shape You Take and had her first headlining tour.
