Buku Music & Art Project: A New Orleans Treat

CID Entertainment presents Buku Music & Art Project located in downtown New Orleans, LA at Mardi Gras World, Buku is one the best art and music festivals the South has to offer. New Orleans is already well known as a cultural hub of art, food, live entertainment, and music. Known as the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans is one of the most musically diverse cities in America, which makes it the perfect place to hold an amazing multi-genre music festival. To top it all off, New Orleans is one of the few cities in America that parties just as hard, if not harder, than the city of sin, Las Vegas.

This is the 7th year of Buku Music & Art Project and they keep growing. This is due in a large part to all the amazing art and culture that the festival has. Many people look at Buku as being mostly a music festival, but they are wrong. Buku is SOOO much more than just music. Buku, derived from the French word for plenty – beaucoup, has a lot of art and some of the most amazing food trucks at any festival. Combine all that with amazing planning and execution, and you have yourself one hell of a festival. To top it all off, they even added another stage this year!

Buku is bound to be one of the best festivals of 2018 with amazing performances by world-class artists like A Day To Remember, Bassnectar, Isaiah Rashad, Alison Wonderland, Rezz, Borgore, Sylvan Esso, Flatbush Zombies, Bonobo (DJ), Mura Masa, Ganja White Night + Boogie T, Little Dragon, Green Velvet, Jay Electronica, Migos, MGMT, SZA, Lil Uzi Vert , Illenium, Snails, Ski Mask The Slump God, Noname, Homeshake, Walker & Royce, and many more! I personally cannot wait for the festival debut of Porter Robinson’s new alias, Virtual Self.
