Coasties Get Ready For North Coast!!!

All you Coasties had better get ready because North Coast Music Festival, presented by Collectiv Presents (formerly North Coast Music Group), has announced its 2022 First Wave Lineup!  The lineup is one that will go down in the books. The fest will continue as Labor Day Weekend’s biggest party happening September 2-4 in the legendary Chi-town area. Last year, the festival moved to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL. Presale tickets are sold out so you had best grab the rest of them while you still are able to!

The celebrated artists are playing on five uniquely curated and designed stages.  The team really took a lot of time in thought into this lineup as the First Wave Lineup reflects a core tenet of NCMF, “CELEBRATE OUR DIFFERENCES”, including all major electronic music genres including bass, house, techno, progressive, and trance. It is also great that they’ve included a healthy inclusion of Chicago talent sure to satisfy any dance music fan.  Second Wave Lineup to be released at a later date with more headliners on the way. If this isn’t the whole lineup- this is going to be the best party around!

There are several curated stages include Fisher’s Catch & Release Records Takeover, Diplo’s house music label Higher Ground Takeover, and my personal favorite, Seven Lion’s Ophelia Records Takeover. 

Last year was an amazing year, for sure. The Seatgeek Stadium had over 78,000 Coasties in attendance! The goal of last year was to enhance their experimental art installations throughout the festival. This includes some crazy installations such as The Void, Into the Fog, the Chill Dome, Rainbow Hammock Lounge, live painting, plenty of Insta-friendly opportunities, and more.  2022 attendees can expect an expansion of these highlights as well as an elevated investment in stage production and the food experience.

As you don’t camp, there are plenty of options to get to the festival without driving. Pace Bus service offers a direct shuttle to the nearby CTA Orange Line, and there are multiple hotels nearby for convenient travel and lodging. This is the perfect way to travel to the festival!!
