Coasting Into Chicago For North Coast

It’s North Coast week! We’re looking forward to heading to Chicago this upcoming weekend where we dance our hearts out to the tunes!

First off, you know that lineup is fire! There are some great tunes lined up for you this weekend. Personally, I am looking forward to names like Alesso, Zeds Dead, Lane 8, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Dabin, ATLiens, and Zomboy. There are some amazing takeovers from the likes of Waakan, This Never Happened, and Black Book Records.

Okay, so here’s a few logistical things you need to know… first off, PARKING! Make sure you snag a parking pass AHEAD of time. Last year, I noticed it was $10 more per day if you purchased the day of. My crew and I decided to carpool and split the cost of the pass to save some money. If you’re taking the public transit, make sure you are prepared and have your route mapped out. There isn’t a ton of public transit near the festival. And if you’re taking an Uber or a Lyft, plan ahead and SCHEDULE your trips! It’ll save you money and ensure you have a ride when the time comes.

Familiarize yourself with the maps and do not get water right when you come in! While that sounds counterintuitive, we waited an hour last year for water when we could have just gotten water at the other filling station, which didn’t have much of a line.
